  1. Will Andy Carroll move on finally from the £35 mill price tag he has been burdened with and find some sort of consistency now or will he always struggle over the course of a season whilst at Liverpool?

Not that I am suggestIng this goal represents a turning point in his fortunes, more a point for debate.

I think he is a good player, but nowhere near that price bracket and the added pressure has taken its toll, he will only be rembered for the transfer.

  2. That seems to strike a Nerve with you Declan.

No it does not strike a nerve with me and my name is Al.

But what does piss me off is Rangers fans coming out with shite that will enviably be thrown back in my face at work, that I will need to reply to as if it was personally attributed to myself.

Glad to clear that up for you.

  3. It has the same company registration number, it was simply a transfer of ownership and a change of company name to reflect the new trading status. It was similar to Rangers shares transferring from SDM to CW pre-administration

The NewCo shell company stuff with Leeds could well be similar to what is proposed, but Leeds united were liquidated and recorded at Conpanies House.

As for SPL / SFA Registration they seem to be making it up so who knows.

  4. We have some who come out with equally desperate statements like when they changed from a ltd company to a plc in 1984 that Celtic disappeared even though the Company registration number stayed the same and they never entered administration let alone liquidation.

This pish could well come back at us if we NewCo in the future.

  5. There is not certain that a CVA will be accepted by Tickerus (if the BK bid fails) or HMRC if we lose the big tax case.

I have heard a lot of reassuring words from various parties over the 18 months that the tax case would first be found in our favour (which is still to be seen) and that HMRC would accept a pence in the pound deal with little or no evidence to back them up.

It would be naive to believe that they could not force the liquidation of Rangers, and this worst case scenario needs to be factored in to the bids.

I am also a little doubious that if a CVA is agreed that we can exit administration before the end of the season given how long it has taken us to get three bids in the table, let alone identify a preferred bidder.

I might sound a little cup half empty over this, but I have had my hopes raised too many times only have them dashed to not have become jaded and cynical with this whole sorry state of affairs.

  6. The can not apply them retrospectively or when a team is already in administration, that is what is wrong.

The only way they will be retrospective is if we are liquidated before the are accepted.

If we are not liquidated or exit administration through a CVA they will not apply.

I think the first club likely to fall fowl of them could well be Hearts with there history of late wages to players.

Assuming the changes get approved of course.

Having said that, the timing is suspect all the same.

  7. D&F have arranged the meeting on the 20th April for creditors, I like to think that a preferred bid would be identified before then.

As for the affects of the proposals on the bids, surely that can only be addressed once it is known which ones have been accepted and which have not.
