  1. Hes not a captain nor a leader of men, he needs that arm band took off him and a kick up the arse too for his pathetic attutude and complacent performances. One i wouldnt mind losing in January, he is not in the indispensible bracket any more.

Some people have very short memories, the best midfielder in Scotland by a mile, he has been MOM numerous times this season and gets shown that level of respect.

  2. The rumours doing the rounds are that Rangers asked Liverpool for the final 2 installments of the Danny Wilson deal to be paid up now rather than as agreed, Liverpool said no, so Rangers asked for a friendly game and would in return scrap the final 2 payments as a full house at Ibrox was worth far more than the final 2 payments for Danny Wilson.

  3. He's not worth £35 million and i have my doubts whether he will ever really make it at Anfield. The transfer fee though has to be kept in context, if Liverpool had've approached Newcastle without the Torres thing going on and been quoted £35 million they would've have walked away laughing. Liverpool wanted Carroll plus £15 million so it was up to Chelsea to pay whatever Newcastle valued Carroll at plus £15 million or no deal.

  4. I believe that Suarez was being brought in as a partner, due to the fact that Liverpool were heavily reliant on him (Torres), and when he was injured they struggled badly, but then Torres wanted a transfer, and thats why they had to buy Andy Carroll at such a high price, because Suarez hadn't fully joined yet (Work permit among other problems) and had they not brought in Carroll, they could potentially have played the rest of the season with only N'Gog. Thats why i believe they paid such a high price for Caroll, and that they wanted so much money for Torres so they could bring in another player very quickly. I think it was just a bonus that the Torres fee also covered a large amount of Suarez fee as well.

Totally right, Suarez was signed to partner Torres not replace him, Liverpool valued Torres at £15 million pounds more than Carroll and asked Newcastle to name their price for him which was £35 milllion, Chelsea were told that it was £50 million or no deal and they paid up. Neither player was worth the money but Liverpool got the better deal overall. As for Torres world class player while at Liverpool, but his attitude stunk for his last 6 months at the club and he got the move he wanted which he has now admitted privately was the biggest mistake of his career, i would expect to see him back in Spain next season.

  5. :crabflute: aye well said cant wait to see what premier club hit the skids first i tip liverpool a quarter of a billion in debt no stadium big enough and paying top wack wages it cant last .

No debt at Liverpool, fantastic new owners who are running the club the right way, look elsewhere for the next English club to implode. All this talk of clubs in England going bust and running up huge debts, is that not the exact same situation that Rangers were in up until Craig Whyte bought the club? debt is not about what league your in, its about having properly qualified people running the clubs. As for playing in England, i can't see it happening sadly its what Rangers and Parkhead Corinthians both need, both clubs are dying on their arse stuck in the SPL, were the standard of football is awful.

  6. Love all these posts saying he's Orish because he played a terrorist in Devils own

There was an article years ago in a newspaper when Pitt was interviewed about making the Devils Own, he said that he spent some time in Belfast before shooting the film to research the role etc, he was an unknown actor at that time and was beaten up by Catholics because they thought he was a Protestant.

  7. Don't normally like to critise our own players, but Broadfoot is shite, i was hoping when he issued that ultimatium earlier in pre-season that he wanted regular games or we wanted a move he would have been kicked out but no he's still lingering about like a bad smell.

  8. I watch the A-League highlights every week and the odd live game on TV and have often wondered why Matt McKay hadn't got a move to a European football, a stand out player in the A-League technically very good with a good engine, whilst its hard to judge the different standards of the SPL & A-League, i don't seee no reason why he couldn't do well for Rangers.

  9. Strange signing, he never figured that much with Liverpool's U18's but the standard of the U18 team is very high so it was maybe for that reason he didn't figure much, he is an attacking midfielder or he can play as a striker.

  10. As well as being a Rangers supporter, i also am a Liverpool fan and i seriously hope neither of these players end up at Ibrox, they won't add anything to Rangers, Poulsen is very very slow his passing is awful and nearly always backwards or sideways he is on a large wage, El Zhar was seen by Rafa as a bit of a super sub mainly because he has pace and is quite direct but he hasn't got much game awareness to go with his pace, final ball isn't great and is rumoured be on £40k a week. After watching these 2 jokers play for Liverpool i have no interest in now seeing them in a Rangers shirt.
