  1. Did I hear the commentator today say that we played a testimonial in the late 90's against Morton? I had to miss today but I seem to remember being at Morton for a game years ago, but I couldn't say for sure until I heard that commentator mention something earlier.

I remember going to a pre season or testamonial at capilow mid to late 90's. I remember Jaz Jutla playing and It was one of Van Vossens first games, think it was 2-0 to Rangers.

  2. Surprisingly some people like talking about football and will talk to fans of the other clubs. If someone is up front and says they support the other club and are coming on to talk about the game; then it is fine by me. If they start any abuse then bin them but if they are up front then fine.

I don't have a problem with that but to come on another teams forum just leaves you wide open from critiscism, something I wouldn't do tbh! I just find it odd.

  3. Why would you come on and post in another teams forums?? mental! Im from Greenock so I hope Rangers rape them, the place will be filled with nappy rippers, I know some who have bought tickets. Truly disturbing little parochial backwater shitehole of a town.

  4. Ill be honest, I've never seen somefolk slever so much at half time as the panel they had on, nevin wasn't too bad but the other 2 were just awful. also the guy commentating was trying his best to rub it right in "warburton says this was just another game, he wont be thinking that now" "rangers fans getting a reallity check, etc" "the team from the premier league, this, that" I don't really notice it but it was very obvious last night they were at the wind up big time. His co comentator was ok to be fair. I actually muted the game it was pissing me off that much "beautiful goal, magnificent stuff, fantastic strike" about all st J goals, tumbleweeds when Tavernier scored, honestly he went quite. I could actually sense his disapointment at us scoring. I would kick them to fuck out.

  5. I don't think we played too badly mid to front, in fact we were very good just defensive mistakes cost us and a little naivity at the back. I would have of liked us to feel our way into the game a little and been a little more cautious in the first half. I was looking at the stats and we had 12 shots and 62% posession!!! played some lovely stuff too. It will come, you always learn more by losing than winning. We may have needed a wee defeat.

As someone said earlier even at 3 down I still fancied us and it was only until the 91st minute I thought we may be beat, thats the belief i have in the squad and management.

  6. I was about 4-5 maybe older. I lived in Corby at the time and my dad wasn't really into football but my wee best mate and all his family were Rangers daft, they lived down the street. I remember he had a massive big picture on the living room wall of King Billy on a white charger, the one most of us have all seen/had. At the time I didn't know what it was or why it was significant, I just remember it being pretty colourful. Anyway as there was no TV coverage or Sky back then my mates dad used to get the games or hilights taped from family in Scotland and sent down first class, which we probably recieved the Tuesday or Wednesday and watched after school most times not knowing the score. This went on for years as far as i can recall. Much later, when I moved back to Scotland in the early 90's, i started going to games I then found out my mothers uncle was Jock Shaw from my own uncle, he gave me one of his club ties from the 50s or 60s i guess its just dark blue with the ready crest on it.

  7. I moved away from the Greenock area about 10 years ago, moved back about 5 years ago and have now moved away again. The place is indead a junky shitehole. The only decent Rangers pubs are the Rangers club, Cleats and the Cafe continetal. the town has changed dramatically over the past 10 years.

  8. Any Club who even gets to the groups stages of Europa getting about 8million, plus prize money for wins or draws on top of that.

It's all relative, small fry to EPL Teams, but for the SPFL at present, that's still a sizable chunk.

We need to get back in Europe ASAP.

Could we do it via any of the Cups this Season, if we performed well enough to go that far? Legally (UEFA rules), can we now do it if we won a cup this Season?

The Money thes horros spend on travel and accomodation to and from Euro games will be phenomenal. I believe it cost aberdeen £250k to travel to Kazakstan!! while only recieveing about £130k in prize money hahaha. The PIGS will have a bigger entourage than the sheep.

  9. Its a real shame the way the game has went in Scotland. Its funny all the wee teams thinking its great and getting more level, etc. The reason the gap is closing is not because they're getting better but the big 2 have got worse. Who wants to watch a league of extrordiary shite?

  10. I think the 1-0 win was a wake up call for me. I was over excited about how great we were playing and that was a reality check, we could have score 3-4 and hibs could have had 1-2, defensivly we arn't great at the minute as we look very exposed at time and Foderingham isn;t the keeper for me, just yet.

It will take a while to gel the back 2 and goalie but i think most games will be heart in mouth stuff until we go ahead, it's just his style of play and we need to get used to it. as someone says "we'll score one more than you"
