2 for me
1) being in sydney 2010 when the gers play pre season, fans day at leichart oval, rain pissing down, training cancelled, me the only wellington loyal rangers supporter there, we are ushered into the grandstand to keep us outa the rain, doors open & out walks sir walter, davie, king kenny & a few others to meet & greet us fans. had a good yarn with walter who has n.z connections & king kenny
2) meeting gazza late 96 in a pool hall in glasgow my cousin took us to . he was awesome & phoned a freind who got a shirt delivered & he gave it to me , signed etc, couldnt understand a word he said, but it it was the gesture -

im a kiwi ,new zealander, of scots on both sides, i love the the all blacks almost as much as i love rangers.
jvdw was a springbok i loved loved to hate, he broke my heart many times doing things on a rugby field to beat my all blacks that a normal player could not do

yes its quite weird really, ive been to ibrox a fair few times, no mean feat when you live in new zealand.
but
taking my 3 sons to ibrox (oh & the wife) for their first time V st mirren april 2011, brought tears to my eyes, tears of joy/happines/good parenting etc
the looks of wonder on their faces = ingrained on my brain forever
