  1. By the way, I will bid £11m if for Ibrox and rent it back for £2m if it really is in play. Bullshit rumour however.

Ha ha, exactly. What fecking nonsense.

The fact that this even gets posted on here either shows tremendous gullibility by the OP or as Phil Collins sings, "True Colours shining through...."

  2. You fucking disgust me.

He's a thousand times more a Gers man than you will ever be.................wait a mo,are you a Gers man???

Nobody is questioning whether Ally is a Rangers man, as the answer is obvious... but my first instinct when I read this article AND when he called Green "an embarrassment" was to deflect from the Forfar score and to gain favour for himself. Ally is no novice when it comes to the media.

Why even mention that he'd take a wage cut to the press? Could have offered behind closed doors?

  3. Haven't posted on here for a while as there have been a lot of family issues I've had to deal with including bereavements etc. I like ED 's posts, he brings a lot to this forum and he is clearly someone not only well connected with the Admins on here but also within the club itself,

I'm trying to read between the lines of ED's posts on this topic and I know that the one race on earth who are obsessed by "loss of face" are the Chinese. ED also stated earlier in this thread that we would not know the identities of the forthcoming investors and we all know the Chinese economy is thriving.

I may be wrong but I may be right thinking along these lines.

Chinese don't give a shit about "loss of face".... they buy everything and if it doesn't work, they just go on to the next project... been like that for years (go learn some economics bud)

  4. How we spend our money is of vital importance... and this is a ridiculous waste. 33 years of age... are you kidding me. After last season, i would have thought it a priority to invest in a squad of players that we can see develop alongside each other and take us to the top of Scottish football were we belong? FFS

  5. I was going to say no, but tbh he'd probably be a decent punt for Div II. Maybe try get him on a one year contract, with option of a second.

Age wise he wouldn't be in the SPL team when we're back, but as said... short term would help bring on the younger players' games.

If we had him and maybe Kenny Miller on a one year contract, it would get the job done quicker (div 2).

  6. I HAVE paid MY MONEY TOO and I want to watch my team, win or lose. If you don't F*** OFF HOME.

That's a bit unfair... As Rangers supporters, we deserve to see us with the same winning mentality we've always had... even if the quality is't there on the park as we do so. Plenty of Walter's teams played pretty negatively, but still grinded that result out every time. They battled hard, and by hook or crook WON.

Yes, any numpty can see things have changed, but AT HOME we should NOT be getting beat by Peterhead. Away, playing on tattie fields against cripplers I can understand set backs, but not at home.

With SPL standard professionals and youth academy quality youngsters, playing at a glorious park like Ibrox, with THAT fantastic crowd cheering them on... even mentioning "losing" as acceptable as long as you got to watch them... well, I respectfully disagree.

  7. If this is true, then I worry for Ally... as this is desperate measures stuff. £4-5k on a 33 year old EX player shows no originality in the slightest. We need players with potential and preferably a sell on fee to a bigger league, that allows for future financial security and the opportunity for short term team growth.

I like Kenny Miller and he'd bring some experience, but we need a team to stay together for a few years... he'd be done in a year (injury free)... much better players in their mid 20s offer much more (surely)?

  8. I don't know... I listened to it in full... I'm not too sure he deserved sacking, he never really agreed to anything solid, only fault was explaining his wage structure for the next few years. If anything, it shows how desperate we were to get players in (anybody) as he was going to get FAR more than his worth once we got back into SPL.

What i will concede, is he would never live it down with us in the stands. Also, money can be paid to get better next year... let's just hope with more time they get better quality.

  9. Perry does not have the bottle to be a Rangers player. Shat his pants and feigned injury to get taken off. Nowhere near acceptable. :-(

I thought he went off pretty eagerly too. Coward and out of his depth if true.

Can anyone think of another 2 foreign signings that are WORSE than Cribari and Faure?

  10. Only Wallace for me gets close to pass marks for trying to drive us forward and playing some decent crosses, although dire defending for their third.

Templeton showed no desire. Reminds me of Chris Burke, great for a couple of games then MIA for the next eight.

Ian Black should never have been signed... kid-on hard man who has lost the battle in midfield in far more games than today.

  11. I gave you a rep by mistake, BTW.

Stop fucking greeting ya big baby. Both teams were pish I think that's been said and was obvious. So tell me, is it easy to score goals in such windy conditions against anyone? If you say yes you've never played football in those conditions. And you say that 1-0 is not acceptable. So what are you going to do? Burn your scarf. Tear up your season ticket, if you have one? Demand the manager is sacked? Cry like a baby all night? It's disappointing when we don't hammer teams like FM, we would all agree, but you sound like a spoiled child.

What happened? Did you have your last tenner on 6-0?

Rubbish reply... 'both teams were pish'... outrageous ffs. BOTH teams shouldn't be pish... only one should be and EVERYTIME when comparing us to a highland league team. Show some ambition!

(WINDY WEATHER) YES... EVEN when playing in those conditions... and btw, you'll never know what it's like to play at the level that Rangers play at (neither do I for that matter), so don't GUESS that they should be playing the same way 2 nobodies like me and you would in similar conditions on a Sunday morning. You insult the team by comparing me and you to them Pele.

1-0 isn't acceptable, saying so shouldn't mean you are any less of a fan than the next guy.

We should be hammering teams like this 6-0... anyone not expecting beating teams like that by more than one fecking goal needs a reality check.

Stop sticking up for mediocrity and insulting anyone who doesn't have your same unrealistic opinions of unnaceptable performances. I demand better.

  12. I am sorry but look at my previous post and you will see I was one who was posting a narrow victory. These teams are all playing the games of their careers, this is as good as it gets for them. Of course they are going to give their all against us. We are playing a full season of cup finals against these teams, so what else do you expect.

Nope... don't buy that for a minute. Even if each of them played the best game of their careers today, I'd still expect our quality - man to man - to beat them easily.

'Full Season of Cup Finals'... YES... But still against Division III/highland League... that doesn't mean we shouldn't be pumping them though.

If anything, using this defense only means you see the quality we have at our disposal as sub standard. We have a far better squad than you're giving us credit for mate. I'm sick of conditions/physicality/every-match-a-cup-final etc being used...

  13. I'm sick of people defending pish performances like this and taking pops at anyone who brings up any brutal truths. Before this game, anyone saying they'd take a 1-0 win would have been told to feck off by the majority or laughed at... now some of you are blaming the 'wind'... we have a team of professional footballers, their technique and ability should shine through against teams of this calibre EVERY MATCH.

Away games are a culture shock to what we're used to i'll agree, but the team we have should be destroying teams like this. 1-0 is NOT acceptable. BOTH teams today faced the same 'awful conditions' by the way.

  14. Far too early to say, think Temps has more potential than Naismith. Although the position Naismith played he was going to be more involved.

I think Temps will need to work on his consistency, if he is not on his game it is really important he doesn't hide. He could get away with that at Hearts (SFL3 feeder club) (SFL3 feeder club) (SFL3 feeder club).

    --

Lol, someone fix that for me!

I really can't see him hiding in all fairness... I reckon he realised pretty early on yesterday that he was of a better quality and seemed to revel in that.

It's like when you used to play the school that all the other schools gubbed 10-0 when you were wee... you used to beg for the ball to run by 2 or 3 at a time before shooting from outisde the box into the wee fat goalie who would dive the wrong way

  15. It's difficult to say, as the competition Templeton was up against yesterday, quite a few on here could probably have skinned... Naismith proved his ability at a better level while playing for us.

I've no doubt in years to come when we're back were we belong, that Templeton could be one of the best wingers we've had in a long while and prove even better than Naismith. The fact he has come down to Div 3 without even a minutes doubt makes him a better Ger than Naismith ever was tho.

Many thanks to Super for making this happen and giving the fans a true entertainer to delight us every week!!!

  16. We need to keep ball on the deck... ffs... that's what they're doing, although we'll still pump them.

Team needs to gel quicker imo, home games should be a formality from the get go, no matter how new they are to each other. We have professional players playing against fuckin sparks and scaffolders.... lots of goals and clean sheet EVERYTIME... or pre-match predictions of 6-0 and 7-0 should be happening every home match.

  17. I wish boring repetitive threads like this would cease to be. Our first game showed it's not gonna be a cake walk back to the top, so let's not put more pressure than is needed on the lads. It's gonna be a messy three years after all... very messy.

YES, we were shafted, but that's now in the past, can't be changed by fucking harping on about it every 2 minutes. Let's concentrate on the league we are in and start giving those 3rd div teams a wee bit of respect and start talking about OUR team first and foremost. Show a bit of pride ffs instead of spending every second thread bitterly concentrating on the SPL, or any team in it, or their attendances, or their finances without us, or goals scored, or validity of winning it until we're back in it... won't change hee haw and just makes us sound bitter and jeaolous. Think about it if it was THEM in our position saying the same?

Most fans with common sense know who really got us to this point... 2 eejit Richard Branson wannabees FULL STOP. Most have accepted it and are just getting on with supporting OUR club and not giving a toss about anybody else in the SPL. 3rd Division is where I wanted to go and most bears I know too. Let's have The Bears Den talking about Rangers playing football matches again.
