  1. VB represented VB not all the fans. We don't presume to either.

And if i recall correctly we are not the only group to have had meetings with Whyte.

What we are doing is waiting for the administrators report then commenting further.

Not exactly difficult to grasp considering i and the group have said it on numerous occasions here and elsewhere.

You are perfectly entitled to adopt an 'innocent until proven guilty' approach. It's about perception though and that is why a 12 man jury will seldom all vote the same way. I personally believe there is more than enough evidence for me that if the man crossed my path today I would feckin have him for what I perceive he has done to my club. I don't have to wait for a court of the land to know that he took the piss out of me and other felow fans from the day of the very first transfer window. I defy any man purposely going in to make our club look stupid to do a better job than him. All about opinions. I will respect yours but certainly not agree with it as is my right.

  2. What is he guilty of ? telling lies ? lawyers tell lies for a living, business men tell lies as a matter of course, unless of course your world is populated solely by Jock Ewing and Perry Mason.

Of course businessmen tell lies in business and I've no problem with that, that's why I would have no problem taking Dave King. But that's not what I'm talking about. I am talking about a group of supporters representing the fans sitting across a table from him days before we were going down the swanny and being lied to big sytle at point blank range. Are you actually saying you would be happy then if every time the fans were represented face to face that he told them out and out porkies - cos 'hey man, that's business'. Give me a break! Why bother with VB in a meeting at all if it's all lies? Why not just send the BB and they can just blow their buggles to the tune of We Have An Anchor while he is spinning them a yarn?

  3. Seems like a real sit on the fence and self preservation job if you ask me. for these reasons:

    (1) "We sat face to face with him in a meeting just days before he shafted us. We reported back on a succeful meeting. We were taken for mugs and if we say so now we lose all credibility".

    (2) "We've got this guy's ear and trust and it gives us credibility that when can get a face to face with the owner. What happens if he comes back and we've slated him? We will lose that relationship".

    (3) "What if he doen't come back and we want a similar relationship with a new owner, and we've openly supported Whyte and opposed P.Murray for eaxmple?"

Solution - "Don't lose face over the meeting we had when we couldn't see he was screwing us big style. Say "innocent until proven guilty". Keep all options open".

Well you know what? If we had sat back to "just wait to see where he eventually takes us because he is not guilty of anything yet" we would have ended up in an unthinkable state (if we are not there already). I'm afraid Mr Whyte is one of these characters that thinks everyone but him fell out of the 'Daft Tree' and hit all of the branches on the way down. HE LIED NON STOP AT YOUR MEETING e.g. Tickitus etc. WHAT MORE DOES IT TAKE?

    IMHO

  4. Am I not right in saying that King put 20 million of his money into the Club for ZERO return which isn't in doubt? Can anyone tell me who the last person was who actually put that amount of hard cash in without there being a level of doubt around it?

And don't be kidded this man has got money in every corner of the globe. Once the S African case is finished (he is already being allowed to trade again I believe) he will be able to access his (sorry, his poor old mum's) accounts.

It's all about opinions but I would welcome this man at the airport personally and organise a flute band to escort his car all the way to the Marble Staircase!! A genuine bluenose. He may have shafted some people in the past but I don't believe he would harm The Club.

  5. No one is abusing him. it's just a banner with a few honest words. There is no abuse on it. Don't see the problem.

This was before the game on Saturday, a few fans that stay near the castle went up with a banner.

There was no protest. I Never expected all these comments saying how shocking it is.

Are people still defending this cunt? what more does he have to do?

    Absolutely agree.

Tarrier protest?? I don't see anyone being hit on the head with lighters etc in that photo.

  6. Have to laugh at Leggo claiming to be right "AGAIN!". This is the same man I read every day telling us that Whyte is a genius with a grand plan for The Gers. Also the obsession with Spiers is vergeing on the freaky! He keeps telling us to ignore Spiers but he spends every day of his life devoting time to him. Just my opinion!

  7. I wasn't going to try to keep this post going due to the obvious lack of interest. But surely reading Ally's article this morning gives an indication that if we are going to call ourselves the Rangers Family then we should look after our own. Cos' sure as hell nobody else will. If anyone has any other ideas I for one would be willing to listen and CONTRIBUTE.

  8. This is just a thought so 'bear' with me. We all claim to be part of the big Rangers Family, and we are. Saturday was just the beginning of our mobilisation and it shouldn't be allowed to stop.

As Ally has said the most important thing at the moment is the lesser known people behind the scenes at Ibrox who are very much part of The Rangers Family and face a massive setback in their lives at the moment in the threat of redundancy. Surely there is some way we can show our solidarity and provide a message to all looking in that we have the trenches spirit that has kept our nation and Club Great through many trials and tribulations.

Is there anyway that someone with a direct voice into the administrators or Club could arrange for a bank account to be setup which could be overseen by the administrators? Give it an online link (in much the same way as those charity ones). Then spread the word through Facebook and various other means. Every Rangers fan deposits a minimum of £2 to £5 a month. Lets just say you get 50,000 bears depositing £5 a month - just until we come out the other side of this, and this could go towards keeping some staff on. The figure would fluctuate on a monthly basis and for it to work properly the adminstrators would need a guarunteed figure every month for them to calculate the level of assistance they could give to employees. So lets just say you estimate a minimum of £150,000 a month (even better if you could persuade a successful business man to underwrite this monthly figure). If they get more each month it can carry forward etc. At the end of this unsettled period if there is any money left it either goes to charity and we get some real top notch banners made to remind everyone that WE DON'T DO WALKING AWAY!

The administrators seem an approachable lot and this would be minimal out of the fans pockets. Surely this wouldn't be too difficult if some effort was put in? And it would send a real message out of No Surrender to our detractors.
