  1. "Is this the football club where he has waived payments on stadium rental? ...... No mate, this is the football club that he has 'deferred' payments on and not 'waived' as his spin merchant would have you believe .... deferred as in 'I still want it' and the rent goes up next season when he packs his wagon up and slides his operation into Salford Rugby Club .... never buys his own does BK The football club who BK separated from its own ground then handed it back to a well meaning bunch of amateur's (fans trust) whilst strapping them to a contract that gave them no income stream whatsoever other than gate money ... our home of over a 100 yrs+. The football club whose history and memorabilia was ripped from the walls and skipped ffs! Yes mate ... that football club
  2. "and his previous record in sport stood up" .... In Rugby but unless you count destroying a football club in the process as a 'stand up' kinda thing then maybe not!
  3. “The reason I don’t like consortiums is because it is so difficult to get all the parties around one table and to agree on things" ....... nearly fell off my chair laughing! When you are not calling all the shots then you are more likely to have others question your actions .... and that might be uncomfortable! Someone else bemoaned the fact that he did not match his desire with enough money ..... he likes to think he is a 'sporting philanthropist' ... well he could always gift some money to help along the way? He has said to all who will listen that 'I am not really interested in taking over, just if nobody else does' .... you couldn't make it up!
  4. The two footballing loves of my life ..... my hometown club Stockport and a life long love affair with Rangers .... and it saddens me deeply to see the the man who (in almost all County fans eyes not a minority) has orchestrated an almost total destruction of a once proud club cast his opportunistic eye on Rangers His sidekick has started to weave his PR spin just as he did with us .... saying what he thinks you want to hear then attacking when challenged .... you will soon see. Its sad to hear fans on here dismiss our warnings as some sort of sour grapes from some saddo's .... the County fans are loyal and angry and know where the blame sits in the main. Like a parasite this rugby club and its management have leeched onto one donor and sucked and sucked until bled dry and now appears to have landed on Salford Rugby League Club (new and bigger ground you see) and so they can look forward to having their home gradually pulled from under them (first thing they did with us was take much of the clubs memorabilia from the walls and bung it in a skip! no bullsh*t, it was recovered and they apologised later when embarrassed it to it)then they took over the club shop and hoofed us into some poxy sideroom. A clever, rich man no doubt .... if he acquires you then you wont end up with egg chasers ruining your pitch obviously and training on it the night before you play hence churning it into a quagmire! but you need to know what's knocking at your door! In the position Rangers are in then many will 'like the cut of his jib' and he may act differently for you but make no mistake .... he has left a wreck in his wake and may just redeem himself by handing our home back to us and walking away (he see's himself as a sporting philanthropist ... his words ... so prove it) as opposed to aiding our slow death by a thousand cuts .... we will see .... we will see what ground rent he charges us for using our former home when they up-sticks to decamp at their new host? Football fans with a love of our club just like you guys .... shafted and humiliated over a long bitter period .... we deserve better and I sincerely hope you get better from whoever ends up in charge
  5. Worked for Amec mate .... I got some stick in Harrys Bar at the Glenhills one night but some Bluenoses gave me a lift
  6. There are a fair number of our fans who have a love of Rangers, regular trips to Ibrox have been a favourite pastime with the lads. The 'Big Butch' years meant some of us missed County games a fair few time I took my lad to Porto a few years back and he has never forgotten it LOL Many of this lot do County and Rangers
  7. Hello folks I am a Stockport County fan .... I know I know .... its a curse I have also loved Rangers for as long as I can remember and attended many matches when my work took me to Renfrew ... anyway I see the Sharks might be circling in more ways than one! One day a book will be written as to how some parasites latched onto my football club, sucked the life out of it and contributed massively (albeit along with a well meaning but naive fan owned debacle) to a free fall of a proud club. Anyway I will include the following for you all to contemplate, as I said its not 100% down to BK but he had a game plan and we were an obstacle to overcome ... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opinion/columnists/oliver-holt/Why-Brian-Kennedy-and-Sale-Sharks-are-killing-Stockport-County-the-football-club-I-love-by-Oliver-Holt-article270857.html
