They will give us a tough game in my opinion.
Although personally I would be disappointed if we dont beat them at Ibrox which will be like a cauldron!
-
Super Ally - semi final v selick down to 10 men for most of the match
McCoist & McCall were amazing that night
I remember I lost a tooth that night fighting with my brother!
-
not the best player but a bit of a cult legend in my book
-
world class player who never got to show enough for the Gers
-
What you doing speaking to a selick fan?
-
not even going to vote on this nonsense - the filth havnt even won 3 in a row yet!
They wont make it 6 in a row by my thinking
-
Had Molls not got injured, Advocaat would have done something special with us I am sure

I dont agree with a fiveyear plan. I think its a good sound bite to keep the rabid media at bay.
We will be in the premier league in 17 months time and we must challenge Celtic for the title with secound place should be a must or Ally must go.
Watch this space - by the time we are back the interest and investment will make Rangers and Ibrox one of the bets places to be for a footballer with aspirations and we will be signing quality while the mhanks sign pigeon junkies like Griffiths!
-
You certainly are, there would be no Auchenhowie (note the name) or Ibrox to attend without the associated costs to their continued existence, which are part and parcel of their running costs.
You dont have a clue! If we binned Murray Park what of the costs I named above would we save? Where would we train and how would we bring through youth players such as Lewis McLeod, Alan Hutton, Charlie Adam, Danny Wilson, Chris Burke, Ross McCormack, Jamie Ness etc etc
As stated before Murray park will cost no more that £1.5m a year to run
-
Other operating expenses include all costs of running the business except player wages.
This would include
All non playing staff costs
Marketing
Ticketing
Policing
Security
Travel & accommodation
Lawers fees
Accountant fees
Shops & mercahndise costs
and a hole host of other business activity
So to say that running costs of Ibrox & Murray Park make up a significant amount of this is totally ignorant!

It costs no less than £12 million a year before a ball is kicked to service and run Ibrox and Auchenhowie, we need Ibrox... the holiday camp that is Auchenhowie is a luxury the club cannot at this time afford.
They account for £12 million of expenditure alone no mystery where the money has gone or goes.
If you can explain how it cost £12m to run I would be very interested. Murray Park only cost £14m to build!
The running costs of Murray Park not including staff will be no more than £1m. Ibrox £2m estimate. What costs are there apart from Council Rates, Heat & Light, General Maintenance, Water Rates, Security, relayin the pitch once a year!
Murray Park is no bigger than a 5 football pitches, one indoor and a gym complex. Bloody huge industrial buildings with equipment worth millions dont cost over £4m to run!
-
Murray Park eh? I much prefer Auchenhowie tbh.
Last time I checked it was still called Murray Park.
Just cause you want to call it something else means jack shit!
-
What a stupid topic this is!
Anyone who thinks we should move back to training in public parks need their heads examined.
Murray Park is a world class facility for both the first team and youth academy.
If anything we should invest more in the youth coaches and spend less on a squad we dont need at present.

Fan ownership is a pipe dream and unless your Real Madrid with 250,000 fans contributing along with some serious rich people who want to be the club president it wont work.
What we need is some like King who can take a major stake but with serious players like McColl, Easdale's and a few others putting up and being on the board.

To me the figure look about right but I would expect other costs to drop by more than £2m as there were more one off costs in year one and this was also a 13 month accounting period.
Wages should drop down by about £4m if it is true that player wages will be about 45% of turnover (45% of £22m = £9.9m) and other staff costs are about £2m.
I would personally get rid of a few players in January as a 27 man squad is to big in this division. Perry, Cribari, Hutton & Dean Sheils should be moved on. Saving of about £0.75m there.
I would expect next season in the Championship with the likely hood we will be joined by Hearts that season tickets will go up by 20% and take up will be about the 40k mark if the board room settles. This should see about an extra £4m in revenues.
So as long as we dont spend out on new players (we have the squad to get back to the top flight now) and dont pay the execs huge bonuses we should start making some profits by year three.
Back in the top flight we will need the likes of King and others to invest in the team (about £15m would do). However with increased season tickets, TV money, Sponsorship that will be generated with our return revenues will be back up towards the £35m to £40m in year 4 so we can afford the new player wages. When we get back with no debt we will be back in a great position.
The manky mob may think they have millions being saved up to fight us on our return but ill guarantee you right now that they dont spend the Lion share of it as they are not as well off as the media would have you believe and they are also built on the biscuit tin mentality and the only charity they believe in i the charity that stays at home in Liarwells retirement package for financial performance!

Some times but not recently!

Well I agree to an extent but on an all blue top its not a big differentiationt from St Johnstone as an example?
This could bring in extra funds with no harm done while taking the PR front foot from our rivals
-
I think its a great idea from the German teams like Bayern Munich to have their team name on the back of their jersey and players name below, I think we should follow suit.
What u think?
-
I know a lot of people question Cole but if he stays clear of injury and gets a run of games hes got everything to be a great player
-
I think the team is shaping up nicely for next season. Still need a center half and do not want Boca or Goian back at their ages and salary it would be daft. I would take Danny Wilson back in a heart beat.
My Team would be
----------------------Bell-----------------------
Cole--McCulloch--New signing--Wallace
-----Peralta-------Law------MacLeod------
-----------------Templeton--------------------
--------------Little-------Daily-----------------
Subs
Gallacher
Hegarty
Aird
Sheils
Clark
Personally I would punt
Argyriou
Cribari
Black
Hutton
Hemming
Naismith

Has been a good player for us but I dont feel for him
65% wage reduction from his current salary is still £4.5k a week!!!!!!
To much for the 2nd Div in my opinion especially as he has no resale value
Watched Dundee United tonight..

I think Dundee Utd might feel they have more to lose than us which will hopefully help us
