    Next Rangers Manager Odds

Betting on who will be the Next Manager To Be Sacked is always a popular betting market with punters and there is always huge interest who will be appointed as new manager when a vacancy becomes available. That interest increases ten-fold when it involves a big club like Rangers, who, along with Celtic, have been one of the dominant forces in Scottish football.

The Glasgow club have hit some hard times in recent years though as financial problems continue to dog them. It leaves them in a precarious position as only winning major Football honours will satisfy their passionate fans. The manager must also carry out a fine balancing act as he must produce results, while also balancing the financial books....

  2. EDIT- 12 months notice!!! FFS

You have finally done the decent thing and resigned. Perhaps a tad later than when we wanted it but it's come at a surprising time as I thought we had you for months to come.

No compensation package hopefully so you are looking after our club.

Top person and great human being. You stood by us through admin and hard times and we did all want you to succeed at the start. It didn't work out but you will be still be a club legend from your playing days. The fans didn't hate you as a person - we just disliked you as a Manager.

Enjoy your retirement and thank you for doing the decent thing.

  3. Coopsleftboot - your name is the only good thing that shows up on your posts. Your miles away from the reality of our situation.

Go back and try counter my post from earlier. What is there to defend? You could get the best lawyer in America to come over and he wouldn't touch Ally.

It's laughable because it throws the same shit every week and fans like you suck up everything he says.

  4. Blinkers suggests you're not looking at the whole picture...e..g. admin, liquidation, registration bans, money, player quality, opposition etc., and using that informed, joined up thinking to look at our situation and how it's likely to have affected on-field performance and results. I've noticed it's something you demonstrate time and again an incapacity to do so.

I'd be interested though if you could show me any posts where I've said that Ally's the man for the job.

That first sentence is something Ally comes out with on a regular basis...lost 40m worth of talent etc.

What about playing over weight part timers? How can our young full time pros not beat them? Why can't we pass the ball? Remember Berwick Rangers away? We drew and played horrendous. Stirling away lost. Stirling at home a draw. Annan, QOS. Raith who are shit we lose a final with 80pcent of the stadium supporting us.

You could have got some young guys from RM playing part timers in the 3rd division and win the game and play better. Why did Ally continue to play Daly last season when league was won? Why not play youngsters up front?

So many questions to a Diddy Manager and time and time again he comes up with shit excuses.

    The wind v Forfar?

Charles Greens fault cos he said in the papers he expects Rangers to win trophies. Wow you would never have thought it

Allys a dud. Always has been as a Manager. I haven't even mentioned pre Admin. Malmo etc etc.

Check his cup record pre Admin too. When we had top players it was...give the ball to Aluko or lump it up front to Jelavic' who hated it.

We could have won the league playing blind players nevermind spl. Allys talking out his arse again and it's no surprise.

  5. You really are quite the clueless agenda driven doughball.

What did you expect with liquidiation and the loss of every single decent player (with the exception of one), a signing and registration ban and no scouting network, and when we could sign players we're relying on average SPL level mercenaries who are more excited about the money than they are playing football. It was a fait accompli for Rangers, and if you cannot see that that type of signing was going to lead to occasional slip ups you're fuckin deluded.

Or perhaps you already knew this, and have always hated the manager and see this as a sleekit way to undermine him.

 You come out with some incredible pish just like our Manager.

  6. I remember when we used to refer to Berwick Rangers beating us or the Souness era game v Hamilton at Ibrox as our worst ever results but where do you start now? Which one of the fuck-awful McCoist era games qualifies as the worst ever?

McCoist has given Rangers new depths that we never thought we'd sink to. If we are missing 20k fans then IMHO 10% are hard-core SoS/UoF fuds staying away for "political" reasons but the other 90% have been chased away by McCoist as his fellow dud henchmen

    Stirling

    Raith

    Annan

    Forfar

    QOS

    Alloa

How many embarrassments should we put up with?

  7. McCoist, though, has warned his players not to use the silence from the stands as an excuse.

He said: "It's definitely a different stadium when the crowds are down.

"When I first went to Ibrox there were crowds of less than 10,000 and there is something eerie about it.

"Make no mistake about it, our players would much rather play in it when it is full to capacity.

"But whether it is 1,000 or 50,000, the job is still the same. The focus on getting results can't change and won't change.

"Every team can do more, no matter if it is Rangers or Real Madrid.

"We set out to win games and the best way to do that is to score goals and to play attractive football."

Rangers had 36,000 season-ticket holders last season - but that figure has dropped to 17,000 this term.

But McCoist is confident the stay-away fans can be lured back.

Asked if he was worried the boycotting fans may never return, he said: "I wouldn't necessarily agree with that because when I first came here I was playing in front of crowds that were under 10,000 but within a year it was up to 45,000 or 50,000.

"It might be harder for them to come back but it is certainly not the case that they won't come back.

"We proved before that they can come back and will come back."
