  1. Any newco can go and take a right good fuck to themselves - they're not and never will be The Rangers.

Time to stand up and be counted - to fight and die for our Rangers.

Liquidation or the forming of a newco Rangers should never be deemed acceptable by any true Rangers supporter.

  2. Paul murray made a bit fo a tit of himself yesterday through his BBc lapdog....poor chris....

We've just got rid of a lying cunt in whyte the last thing we need is another one who thinks the way to buy rangers is to manipulate the press and spread scare stories in the press.(not to mention the extra load he is carrying around with him in the shape of dingwall and co.)

I know one red card that will be left where it's sitting on saturday :sherlock:

    That's cos you're a fanny. (tu)

  3. I agree, who is seeking to liquidate us...straight from the paul murray camp of scare stories, "i won't liquidate rangers" how can Paul Murray supply blatant false promises like this.

If we are liquidated it will be because there is no other choice no because someone wants to or doesn't want to.

Paul Murray is a dangerous figure.

Can I just say something here ?.......... ( * Tilts head to side like Souness * )

You're a bigger idiot than I first thought.......for sure. :sherlock:

  4. I think it's a cracking idea, hopefully will get projected around the international news stations to show the world we will not let this happen!

It's a great idea and we should all get right behind it.

I think we should also hold up the Red card at the 16th and 90th minute's as well - fuck up the Subway Loyal.

Show The Red Card To Liquidation!

    Anti-Liquidation Demo On Saturday!

On Saturday versus St Mirren 50,000 Bears will show that Rangers will not die by giving a red card to the threat of liquidation.

At kick off and in the 18th and 72nd minutes - 1872! - raise your red card and voice your determination not to support anyone who is trying to drag the club down into liquidation.

On Monday evening a meeting took place in Glasgow with host of fan groups to discuss the Bears fight-back against those who seek to do the club down.

Rangers Football Club have survived the good and the bad for 140 years , the vast majority being very successful for a club now known to be the most successful club in world football. Its more than just a club, it’s a way of life for far too many people the world over to simply give it up to faceless money men with no love nor interest in this famous fitbaw club.

It was agreed unanimously that we The Rangers support would fight tooth and nail against anyone or group who seek to liquidate the Gers.

The message is simple, sink us and we will sink you !

You won’t simply reform a newco and everything’s bright and rosy, not a chance in hell. The Rangers fan base united won’t allow it, no fans, no players, no sponsor. NOTHING

This Saturday we have arranged to allow every fan in Ibrox to show the administrators and any would-be liquidators the “red card”. 50,000 red cards will form part of display in protest at the enemy intent on finishing off The Rangers as we know it. Message banners and red cards will make our feelings clear as day, you are not welcome.

The display is NOT in favour of any individual bid/bidders, we simply welcome anyone with Rangers best interest at heart.

Feel free to bring your own message banners, we all know the rules !

The display will be set up on Thursday and Friday night , ALL Rangers fans are welcome to help set it up. To arrange help please email sie1872@googlemail.com

It’s our club, it was our fathers club and it will be the club of our children!

    The Rangers FC forever!

    It’s all about The Rangers!

  6. AN Anglo-American consortium last night emerged as favourites to land Rangers.

The syndicate is represented by Chicago-based Club 9 Sports and are said by administrator David Whitehouse to be backed by “substantial resources”.

The group of wealthy mystery investors from the US and UK have leapt ahead of Paul Murray’s Blue Knights consortium, whose proposal was described as having “logic” but not matching up “economically or arithmetically”.

Both bids will, however, be considered tonight after the latest deadline for a possible takeover.

They will be examined along with two others from a Singapore-based syndicate and a London group of financiers.

A fifth is also expected from Edinburgh-born businessman Brian Kennedy, who had pulled out of the race last week.

Club 9 Sports confirmed last night they themselves would not be bidding for control of the club, but were acting as a member of a consortium. A statement on their website said: “Representatives of Club 9 Sports have been involved with investigating, analysing and considering a potential purchase of Rangers Football Club on behalf of a group of interested parties from the US and UK.

“However, at no time has Club 9 Sports itself offered a bid to acquire the club. Our role has been as a member of a proposed consortium.

“We can also confirm we have not met, spoken to or otherwise been associated with Craig Whyte in any way.

“We understand that it has been strongly rumoured that our group planned to ‘liquidate’ the club.

“It should be made clear that any party that attempts to acquire the club, eliminate the debts, affect a turnaround, invest monies and put the club back on solid ground is in fact ‘saving’ the club from liquidation and preserving its past and its future.”

After 48 hours of talks with potential buyers, Whitehouse is confident a new owner will be in place to take over just after Easter.

“Our aim is to give one or other group preferred status position on the basis of what they are offering is deliverable, commercially viable and having the best chance of being acceptable to the creditors including HMRC,” he explained.

“The offer from America provides very attractive levels of investment as indeed does one other. The US group have demonstrated to us they have substantial resources and are respected businessmen in the United States.”

Whitehouse revealed a “large gap” existed between Blue Knights’ bid and others. “Their economics are not right, their arithmetic is not right, but there is logic and a value in their proposals as the deal with Ticketus would mean they would no longer be a major creditor,” he said.

    FFS..... :anguish:

  7. I find the timing of the statement from Club9 worrying and it seems to tie in with this one from tha administrators in The Scotsman:

David Whitehouse has confirmed that negotiations have started with the Scottish Premier League, the Scottish Football Association and Uefa in anticipation of the formation of a so-called newco Rangers should that course of action be followed by a new owner.

    Humming, absolutely humming !

We don't want a newco you cunts! We want the Rangers.

  8. If Club 9 Sports take us over then it really is the end of Rangers as we know it.

    Correct.

But blood will flow through the streets of Glasgow as the Rangers support finally realise we've been stitched up good and proper if this turns out to be the case.

Hopefully Paul Murray and Brian Kennedy still have an ace or two to play. ;)

  9. Can you point me in the direction of this please GS, ive not read that yet. Theres that much flying around just now.

  10. This is from his PR man:

As promised I said I would keep you updated. I have spoken to Brian and I have sent the following to the Media

I have just spoken to Brian Kennedy who is on business in New York and he has advised me that he has NOT issued a revised bid regarding Rangers Football Club. If the situation changes Brian will advise me and accordingly I will notify you.
