He wasn't as good as Numan or Stuart Munro.
or Eric Caldow

Everytime Rangers in that period is mentioned his name comes up, and as an under-rated talent.

Great player and under-rated for sure. If I was to compare Smith at his best to any other world class player of the same era it woul be to Frans Beckenbauer. Both brought class to the role of sweeper.
Happy b'day Smudger.

I bumped into Charlie Adam one day walking down Sauchiehall Street and stopped and asked him for a photo but he blanked me and kept walking, prick.
perhaps he was put off by the Big Issue

Another motivational half time talk from Ally. Or are our players betting on ninl nil at HT and a Rangers victory? I smell an SFA inquiry coming
-
want fuk all to do with the DR or these taig bastards.

Porrini was a gentleman who really enjoyed his time at Rangers. He also said Glasgow reminded him of Milan, never quite got that one he was talking about the people I guess. Really nice bloke.
Wee mention for Tony Vidmar the only player to shout a round for the Bears in Hooters.

fuck alfie conn he is a turncoat rat
Did you ever actually see him play Declan? He was a major part of the EWCW cup campaign and i will never forget him ripping mcneil apart in the Tam Forsyth cup final to score our second goal. So all in all he has done more for Rangers than all the name calling neds.

timeforbears to phone into RC and let the bastards have it. they would be first in line to give us pelters.

duplicate deleted but at least GF is listening

I would swap the 100% record for a win in the Scottish Cup Final at the paedodhome.

The op seems to post these anti Ally threads every 28 days, makes me wonder if he is on the rag? Bad enough these posts when we were playing garbage last season. Played some good football this season fans need to lighten up a wee bit.

Sometimes you DO post shite but the person lobbing accusations seems to have materialised fairly recently. timings and accusations seem a bit odd.Gogzy - I would like to take this poster to task on that accusation that I won't stop messaging him. I know this can be checked.
It seems there is mischief afoot here.

I have a feeling this will be about as successful as the famous Rangers, sorry Bain, deal with ShinBao (Shenzhen) a waste of time and money. Nice to see dungcaster, salmond and liewell indulging in a mutual wankfest.

Heard the story years ago about Ricksen shagging Jordan. Spoke to big Joe and he denied the incident ever took place.

I remember the days before fannies mags. You either bought a program and/or a Scottish Protestant View from Pastor Jack. Nowadays he would be arrested by the Stasi, sorry Focus.

I am happy that BBC Alba are broadcasting the game as it means not having to listen to shite commentators.Cop out, why aren't the main TV channels interested ? Could Mr King not do a deal to have it at a bigger venue. Are BBC Scotland going to pretend this game ain't happening ?

I thought after William Hill passed away his sons took over the business. The newspaper story should then have read;
The Scottish FA can confirm Celtic Park as the venue for the 2013/14 Sons of William Hill Scottish Cup Final.

Danny Kelly was on TalkSport saying that this Spurs team was the greatest team ever. Apparently they played the beautiful game the way it should be played. Did they not win a European trophy with Blanchflower and a Scottish winger they called 'the Ghost?'
I have no idea. Too young to know.
I have also heard from my elders that the Rangers team in the early sixties were pretty hard to beat in terms of great football.
The Ghost was John White who was tragically killed on the golf course. Struck by lightning.
White was a brilliant player and a Scottish internationalist and only 27 when he died. He was an old fashioned inside left (midfielder in todays parlance) and was a prolific goalscorer.
He played in the same Spurs side as Blanchflower, Greaves and Dave Mackay yes it was a great team indeed.

It's October, compare Boyd with them in May.
I can only answer using facts, not speculation.
If I could predict the future I'd win the Euromillions, buy Rangers and ban bloggers from Ibrox
-
Pretty sure he's scored 9 this season.
And no we wouldn't because at least we know Boyd could do the job at Rangers.
No he hasn't
No we don't. He did in the past but that means nothing.
-
Aye, clearly past it and would add nothing with all the goals he's been scoring in the country's highlest league this season..
Aye I see what you mean '2 days ago - Kris Boyd took his tally to six goals for the season' The Ayrshire Messi??
Be better signing one of these guys;
SPL top scorers
20 Michael Higdon (Motherwell)
20 Billy McKay (Inverness CT)
19 Leigh Griffiths (Hibernian)
16 Gary Hooper (Celtic)
16 Niall McGinn (Aberdeen)
13 Johnny Russell (Dundee United)
12 Steven Thompson (St Mirren)
11 Paul Heffernan (Kilmarnock)
10 Andrew Shinnie (Inverness CT)
10 Jamie Murphy (ex-Motherwell)

Prefer FF than this forum.
As good a reason as any for a ban.

Since i'm quite young compared to alot on here and wasn't lucky enough to be alive/or old enough to see some of the best players to have ever played for us, was just seeing if those who were fortunate enough to see the following players, could compare them to any footballer in the world today, so i can have a good idea of what type of player they were.
Davie Cooper
Brian Laudrup (was abit too young to remember)
Ian Durrant (pre injury)
Sandy Jardine
Graeme Souness
Derek Johnstone
Jim Baxter
John Greig
M8 you need to remove James Curran Baxter from that list as the world has never seen a comparable player.
I fear that neither the Rangers nor the world will ever see his likes again. Yes he was THAT good and not audacious, but to quote 'Bill & Ted' he was BODACIOUS dude.
Jim Baxter was a genuine one-of-a-kind and I feel blessed to have actually seen him play.
The commonwealth games involvement!
