It would be stupid to count this, next seasons or the first division title as 55, 56 and 57. We have won the top prize in Scotland 54 times, and at the end of the season it will still be 54, but we will have won the third division title once.

NAH thinking on this.... you may be quite correct.... given that wee Durranty was a quite brill player yet so many midfielders seem stunted in movement and passing (quickly)

Wee Barry apart from Dick (being one) and trying to install into a remarkable young attacking football talent that he should in fact play as a defensive player half wasted as to just what a cracking player Bary could and probably should have become.
Barry still did amazingly well playing with a very limited side to overcome Arsenal in a Cup Final......... no doubts about that.
He'd be a right decent coach I'd imagine.

Amazing that you point out walter smiths defensive tactics being the reason behind our run to the UEFA cup final, were Birmingham playing liquid football all the way to the final, given the offensive tactics they deployed. One up top with fergie boy an lee bowyer camped infront of their defence. Even in his "greatest achievement" he embarrassed himself, jack wilshere slaughtered him for his behaviour.
