  1. Jim McAlister scored for Dundee last night, but he's a well known bluenose from Rothesay. His local CSC reacted by congratulating him on Twitter... Nope, they called him a h**. Other folk called him an Orange bastard. Saw a few folk trying to get it press attention but bet it gets nothing. It's a Rangers problem according to the press.

Have it on good authority they were on the IRA songbook again last night.

And aye, Bears Den because Jim is one of our own.

  2. Perhaps someone can clarify her position with regards to her level of qualifications.

She's not the brightest, from a family that are far from intellectuals. Pretty sure she left Rothesay academy with no highers.

I do believe that her academic background has relevance here as she tries to position herself as someone capable of informed opinion.

I don't believe that her personal life or any mistakes she might have made there are any of our business and what's happening in certain places online is bullying.

  3. You really are a walloper - if you know the fking answers why ask - are you the stats verifier!!! Get of your fking high horse ! If you know stats you know the models and approxations I made you also know that my assumption is correct!

BP. At best the poll tells you the opinions of a self-selecting group of people who have signed up for the site, were interested in the particular thread name chosen for the poll and then chose for themselves whether or not to vote.

The number of people who chose to vote under those conditions is irrelevant when it comes to how representative the results are of the support in general so you can't apply any general statistical rule that says any number above x is statistically accurate to with y percent.

  4. We were advised to starve our enemies in the media i.e Daily Rebel & Sunday Mass who have tried to destroy us, and low and behold our captain Lee McCulloch serialises part of his book.

He has been one of our stalwarts this season and then goes and lets us down by participating in talking to this SCUM.

Never bought this Rebel rag for years and I still won't be buying it.

You have let us down big time Lee after standing by us.

So can we add Lee to the over growing list of loyal gers some of our support are turning on? We're not fucking mopes.

  5. If your easily offended then don't watch this.

    Prince Harry, Kate Middleton....................

He's not a comedian, he's scum like his audience.

You're offended because he mentioned Prince William in a joke about Davie Weir being old? Seriously.

"mulgrews away up to the ncp to fill up the babysitting machine! "

" mcginns about 11 years old. He probably ordered a toy guy and just got some bullets "

It's a sad day when the mopes aren't offended by that but you find offence in the royals getting a passing mention.

  6. Everyone owed £1000 and under, I know some guys from here and FF have paid some of the really small debtors, I want all under £1000 debtors to be paid off.

    That is The Rangers way.

Why should those owed small amounts get preferential treatment to those that gave us tens of times more money when we asked for credit?

  7. Weve got 1197 ghuests on here on a Saturday night, people with nothing better to do of an evening than come here and read the knee jerk reactions to another disappointing away draw for the gers.

We all need to remember exactly what our club has been through over the last 12 months. How players, coaches and a manager have been used to top flight football (for about 30 years in the case of Ally) have now suddenly found themselves thrown straight from that to the bottom tier and the completely different grounds, players, referees, pitch sizes, tactics and everything else that goes with being in the bottom tier.

Every player in every team we are playing against has been playing this way for years and know what to expect, and every other team that has found themselves in this league has either slowly built to it through the amateur leagues or dropped down from the other low divisions. We've had the ultimate culture shock of being dropped after 140 years in the top league straight to the bottom so it's understandable it's taking a bit of getting used to.

I'm as disappointed as the next bear with the result today but those calling for mccoists head need to get a grip and put everything we've been through into perspective.

Things will come good, but 3 draws away after all we've been through isn't the time to start calling for mccoist to go!

  8. Facism is alive and well in Scotland. No other section of society would be subjected to this.......yet.

What if a fan refuses to cooperate? Are they refused entry to the Stadium - on what grounds?

Can almost hear Orwell - I told ye so!

It's probably a condition of entry with the ticket sale. Tried searching our website for the list and googled it too but no luck.

Hampdens came up and I'd assume they're all pretty similar

  9. As I have said repeatedly, we can only be policed if we agree to be policed.

Here is some simple maths for you. 50,000 bears, 500 Police. 100:1 superiority of numbers. Working within the law, knowing your rights and non-violent resistance can stymie the Police. You only need to give your name if the police have accused you of an offence.

If the policeman asks you your name, ask him why he he is asking for your name as you have commited no crime. He must justify that you have potentially commited a crime to allow him to ask for your name. Giving him a false name is illegal, but refusing to give your name is not unless he says that you HAVE commited a crime. Get stroppy about it. 50:1 odds gives most sensible people a swift sense of mortality.

If you see a bear being hassled by a policeman for no reason, ask why he is being hassled and if 50 of us do it, so much the better. Suddenly the cooper will develop an urge to be elsewhere.

We can initimidate back without violence, thus we must do it to prevent ourselves from being unfairly targetted.

Not quite true, if he suspects you've witnessed someone committing a crime he can demand your name.

  10. Um, Boca and Goian tuped over and started the season. They left coz they wanted to ensure they were playing at the highest level possible so they would be picked for their International squads. I don't know why Ally let Broadfoot go. Probably because he was on high wages and Ally wanted to give the young guys a chance and save some money. But I don't get what your argument is about. We shouldn't be upset, angry, pissed off and vindictive towards the traitors coz maybe (in your opinion) we couldn't have afforded their wages? If they did tupe over and we did just let them walk for free. That would have been enough for me. They would have acted like men of character and would have been revered as Legends by me. FFS Shagger was my favourite Goalie after The Goalie. Not anymore.

While our enemies tried to kill us and we valiantly fought back these guys fucked off. They are deserters and (imo) they deserve no sympathy, no understanding and No fuckin respect.

Sorry if you were offended by the name calling.

    Fair dos.

I'm not really making an argument. My point is simply that whatever happened we couldn't afford to keep the players that were on big wages while we're rebuilding and that the level of hate being directed at those who jumped for their own interests is disproportionate. They were going whether it was their decision or the clubs.

I wasn't offended by the name calling, just highlighting that it impacts your point if you have to resort to it!

  11. Why would Charles Green buy a club when he couldn't afford the players? You utter moron. Rangers are doing just swell financially, it's those SPHell clubs suffering financially you :wanker:

So in your head we could have afforded to run the club while paying the level of wages of all the players who have left? I don't think I've seen anyone else who thinks that.

One wee question for you, if we could afford the kind of wages we were paying why did we let boca, Goian and Broadfoot go for nothing?

Don't worry though, since you won't be able to work it out just call me a moron or a wanker again.

  12. I agree they came for the money but how the fuck is coming to Rangers a backwards step? Even in the 3rd division? for a start you only just have to look at the crowds we are still getting in the lowest tier in Scottish football.

Everyone else world wide are still talking about Rangers. Rangers have had higher attendances than the whole of Scotland this season and higher than both the previous Scotland World cup Qualifiers at Hampden.

They are coming here because they want to make something of there careers they want to be known they want to win trophies while getting paid well for it. Whats up with that?

Why would players like Sandaza stay at St Johnstone playing in empty stadiums every week with no one even having a care in the world about him or his team? The same goes for Tempelton etc..

We might not be in Europe for 3 years but that doesn't seem to matter to the players as everyone knows we will be back there no doubt about that.

Everyone in Scotland expected Rangers to struggle, they expected the crowds to disappear they expected no "top flight" players would sign for us, and they thought the SPL would become more competitive and exciting.

They were all wrong and it has backfired on them all. Now it's getting embarrassing some of the stuff there coming away with "why are people still signing for Rangers in the 3rd division"

    cgreen.jpg

Yep, I pretty much agree with everything you've said. My "backward step" was a dig at the fans of diddy teams and the pish they've been spouting.

  13. What the fuck are talking bout? They didn't tupe over so we should thank them for saving us on wages? So Edu, Boca, Goian, McCulloch, Alexander should never be welcomed at Ibrox because they tuped over and we had to honour their wages?

    Seriously, WTF!

They are treacherous scum and I'd have no sympathy if their careers suddenly ended. If they had done the right thing by Rangers then when their careers ended they could come back to Ibrox as legends and heroes. Fuck them and fuck you for trying excuse their actions

What I'm saying is we couldn't afford their wages.

Dont see where i said we should thank them for leaving or banish Boca, etc and your emotive language doesn't change the facts I'm afraid.

Whatever their reasons for leaving, and I've got no doubt it was financial gain for almost all of them, the fact is we couldn't afford to keep them and Edu, Goian, Bocanegra and Broadfoot cost us money by staying, and the club couldn't afford to keep them.

  14. We eventually got £800k for Davis, 10 players left, if we get even £300-500k for them thats £3-5m which, given the situation which is a lot of money.

The players negotiated the clauses to ensure that they could leave cheap and would then make up for loss of wages in signing on fees and wages at new club, but still jumped to screw us out of a fee and get a few extra quid in their pockets.

Sound just like the sort of thing legends would do, eh?

Take ten players, say an average wage of 10k a week and we're at nearly half a million pouring out of the club every week. Even if we managed to get a transfer fee for all f the, the sales would have had to go through almost immediately after they Tupe'd or we'd have been making a loss.

Look at edu, Broadfoot and Goian. All first team regulars who did what people are saying was the right thing. How much of a fee did we get for them after we let them go? Or did we make a pretty significant loss on them for the time they transferred.

  15. You think no-one would have taken them given that they had clauses in their contracts that they could leave for pennies?

So are folk complaining that we've lost out on pennies that their sale *could* have brought in.

Look at the clubs they've ended up at, not exactly renowned for splashing cash and I don't remember any of those clubs coming in with bids for them when they weren't freebies?

  16. About 5 or 6 million up in transfer fee's for a start pal but then like you said "is it all about the money" because when the career of a footballer is over and the money has dried up all they are left with is memories and respect of which the likes of Big Jig has earned and the deserters have lost......try cashing that down the pub when your a 60 year old ex-Rangers player who let the fans down

    :mcculloch: :praise:

Aye, but could we afford to take the risk of paying out near 100k a week in wages in the hope that a club would come in with an offer for all 4?

Look at the clubs they've ended up at. Realistically with the wages Davis, mcgregor and Whitaker were on the clubs they ended up at wouldn't have offered them the deal they did if they had to find millions for a transfer fee too. If we got 2 million for naismith it would have been lost in wages to the other 3 by the next transfer window.

And these days, players earn enough in a good career that when they stop playing they're set for life. It's easy for folk to sit here and say the respect of the fans should be worth more than 10000000 in the bank and security for life.
