  1. To be fair, he's right. How can we expect the media or anyone else to support us highlighting bigotry from Celtic fans when raising the issue gets comments like yours? They'd say "you're both as bad as each other".
  2. Jim McAlister scored for Dundee last night, but he's a well known bluenose from Rothesay. His local CSC reacted by congratulating him on Twitter... Nope, they called him a h**. Other folk called him an Orange bastard. Saw a few folk trying to get it press attention but bet it gets nothing. It's a Rangers problem according to the press. Have it on good authority they were on the IRA songbook again last night. And aye, Bears Den because Jim is one of our own.
  3. She's not the brightest, from a family that are far from intellectuals. Pretty sure she left Rothesay academy with no highers. I do believe that her academic background has relevance here as she tries to position herself as someone capable of informed opinion. I don't believe that her personal life or any mistakes she might have made there are any of our business and what's happening in certain places online is bullying.
  4. BP. At best the poll tells you the opinions of a self-selecting group of people who have signed up for the site, were interested in the particular thread name chosen for the poll and then chose for themselves whether or not to vote. The number of people who chose to vote under those conditions is irrelevant when it comes to how representative the results are of the support in general so you can't apply any general statistical rule that says any number above x is statistically accurate to with y percent.
  5. Haha, 26 gers and 300 ghuests attend rangersmedia end of season dinner! I'd be in despite my infrequent posting!
  6. So can we add Lee to the over growing list of loyal gers some of our support are turning on? We're not fucking mopes.
  7. Pretty sure you've got the wrong song, good knowledge on boyzones back catalogue though!
  8. Seems like a pretty reasonable critique to me. It's not healthy to unquestionably accept everything that comes from the top of our club.
  9. You're offended because he mentioned Prince William in a joke about Davie Weir being old? Seriously. "mulgrews away up to the ncp to fill up the babysitting machine! " " mcginns about 11 years old. He probably ordered a toy guy and just got some bullets " It's a sad day when the mopes aren't offended by that but you find offence in the royals getting a passing mention.
  10. I've watched Glody about a dozen times and he has an incredible chance. Strong, pace and knows where the goal is. He's been at MP for a while...think originally from Congo.
  11. Why should those owed small amounts get preferential treatment to those that gave us tens of times more money when we asked for credit?
  12. Weve got 1197 ghuests on here on a Saturday night, people with nothing better to do of an evening than come here and read the knee jerk reactions to another disappointing away draw for the gers. We all need to remember exactly what our club has been through over the last 12 months. How players, coaches and a manager have been used to top flight football (for about 30 years in the case of Ally) have now suddenly found themselves thrown straight from that to the bottom tier and the completely different grounds, players, referees, pitch sizes, tactics and everything else that goes with being in the bottom tier. Every player in every team we are playing against has been playing this way for years and know what to expect, and every other team that has found themselves in this league has either slowly built to it through the amateur leagues or dropped down from the other low divisions. We've had the ultimate culture shock of being dropped after 140 years in the top league straight to the bottom so it's understandable it's taking a bit of getting used to. I'm as disappointed as the next bear with the result today but those calling for mccoists head need to get a grip and put everything we've been through into perspective. Things will come good, but 3 draws away after all we've been through isn't the time to start calling for mccoist to go!
  13. Amazing news. Cue "lack of ambition" pish from the jealous diddies!
  14. It's probably a condition of entry with the ticket sale. Tried searching our website for the list and googled it too but no luck. Hampdens came up and I'd assume they're all pretty similar http://www.hampdenpark.co.uk/visitor-information/ground-regulations.html
  15. Not quite true, if he suspects you've witnessed someone committing a crime he can demand your name.
  16. Searches, requests for names etc while we're trying to get into the ground aren't normally covered by legislation. Instead its a condition of entry. E. G. Refuse the request and you're not getting in. It's the same as getting into a nightclub, they don't have a right to search you but if you say no you can't get in.
  17. Fair dos. I'm not really making an argument. My point is simply that whatever happened we couldn't afford to keep the players that were on big wages while we're rebuilding and that the level of hate being directed at those who jumped for their own interests is disproportionate. They were going whether it was their decision or the clubs. I wasn't offended by the name calling, just highlighting that it impacts your point if you have to resort to it!
  18. Unlike my shower of shite. Genius.
  19. So in your head we could have afforded to run the club while paying the level of wages of all the players who have left? I don't think I've seen anyone else who thinks that. One wee question for you, if we could afford the kind of wages we were paying why did we let boca, Goian and Broadfoot go for nothing? Don't worry though, since you won't be able to work it out just call me a moron or a wanker again.
  20. Yep, I pretty much agree with everything you've said. My "backward step" was a dig at the fans of diddy teams and the pish they've been spouting.
  21. What I'm saying is we couldn't afford their wages. Dont see where i said we should thank them for leaving or banish Boca, etc and your emotive language doesn't change the facts I'm afraid. Whatever their reasons for leaving, and I've got no doubt it was financial gain for almost all of them, the fact is we couldn't afford to keep them and Edu, Goian, Bocanegra and Broadfoot cost us money by staying, and the club couldn't afford to keep them.
  22. Take ten players, say an average wage of 10k a week and we're at nearly half a million pouring out of the club every week. Even if we managed to get a transfer fee for all f the, the sales would have had to go through almost immediately after they Tupe'd or we'd have been making a loss. Look at edu, Broadfoot and Goian. All first team regulars who did what people are saying was the right thing. How much of a fee did we get for them after we let them go? Or did we make a pretty significant loss on them for the time they transferred.
  23. So are folk complaining that we've lost out on pennies that their sale *could* have brought in. Look at the clubs they've ended up at, not exactly renowned for splashing cash and I don't remember any of those clubs coming in with bids for them when they weren't freebies?
  24. Aye, but could we afford to take the risk of paying out near 100k a week in wages in the hope that a club would come in with an offer for all 4? Look at the clubs they've ended up at. Realistically with the wages Davis, mcgregor and Whitaker were on the clubs they ended up at wouldn't have offered them the deal they did if they had to find millions for a transfer fee too. If we got 2 million for naismith it would have been lost in wages to the other 3 by the next transfer window. And these days, players earn enough in a good career that when they stop playing they're set for life. It's easy for folk to sit here and say the respect of the fans should be worth more than 10000000 in the bank and security for life.
