I'll be there for the Bayern game too. First time for us and Haven't booked anywhere to stay yet. Was going for something near the tankstelle, should I be looking at the town instead?
To be honest mate anything on reeperbahn and beside the Tankstelle is just cheap and cheerful, ideal for a lads weekend! your hardly going to be in the hotel anyway!
were only trying the centre for something a bit different! The Holiday inn St pauli we stayed in done fine, just ended up evacuated due to some of the boys we where with so 15 of us are now barred from it but thats a different story haha! Its easy enough to find the Tankstelle and london pub etc from their though if you can get that booked!

Me & my mate going in April, the weekend of the Bremen game, just posting to see if anyone recommends the best places to go, hotels, match tickets & travel etc it would be appreciated.
13 of us going over next weekend for the Bayern Munich game. Its a bonkers place! go to the Tankestelle on the Reeperbahn, as soon as they hear your accents they fire the bigotry on and Mick that runs it sort you out for whatever you need!
The Reeperbahn is pretty seedy and manky but it never sleeps for a bevvy! Also dirty woman everywhere you look if thats your thing haha!
We stayed in the Holiday in in St Pauli the second time we went and it was a bit of a dump but near enough right on the Reeperbahn (even though the boozers round about it all had celtic crests in them) We ended up getting barred from it as well and an 800 euro fine... we are staying in the city centre for a change when we go next weekend so i will let you know if its any better!
Fly right from Edinburgh its the easiest way to get their and the underground is perfect for getting about, if you get off at St Pauli the Tankestelle is just up to the right before the mcdonalds!
All in all its a bonkers place mate, need to try it at least once

Not only says hands off to possible suitors but a huge boost to the players confidence. Warburton clearly knows how to man manage and bring the best out of players and if he keeps things like this up the morale and harmony of the team is only going to grow.

All the typical characteristics of Warbs signings, player with huge potential losing their way a bit and needing a bit of guidance. Free transfer, well worth a punt. Read somewhere he was linked with Ajax at the same time he signed for Aston Villa, must have something in his locker!

call me a skeptic but the fact hes been documented as a Rangers fan i think he was trying to be as harsh with us as humanly possibly so that the sticky tapes can bring in to question is professional integrity since they are more interested in our games than their own!

sorry mate I was on my phone yesterday and fucked up the reply(a couple of times) I had the same thing with the queen of the south game, the day before the game pop into a bar and ask the guy to check his channels to see if the Rangers games there, they should put it on for you, it might have Arabic commentary but the guy with the remote got a language menu screen up clicked English and that was the BT sport team, this was not in your resort but I would think the same will go.
No worries mate! was it turkey you where in? they can only say no!

Damn near every bar will have a TV on and will be showing the Gers play if not conflicting with a EPL match. Speak nicely to the bar staff and if they have a couple of TV's you can sometimes get one to show us (probably no sound) and the other will be the EPL match if conflicting times. Only two places I know about are Mamaris and Ichlemer which have Rangers bars there, or did last time I was.

Was thinking that after i booked it that there was rangers boozers in quite a few holiday places in Turkey except the one she picked

£125 vip gets the usual drinks reception and food picture took with him and 1hr before show to talk with him

Used to get the Abronhill bus when it ran to games then went on the boroughs bus before just making my way into town.

I'm an old Corbies member from the 70's,before the bus left from the forum when everyone was on the Corbies bus.
There used to be two buses left from the Corbies from time to time.

For me Charlie Adam was always forgotten about, 13 goals in 52 games from midfield including that freekick under the wall against the filth! Wonder how he would have fitted breaking through with Warbs as the gaffer...
Also Kenny Miller! Slated so many times but he always puts in a shift and he was unstoppable during his second spell!

We have a few spaces going for the trip over to Belfast on Saturday if anyone fancy's it? we are leaving Cumbernauld at 4 am and getting the 8 pm ferry home. Heading to the game then watch the Brian Robinson Parade at 4. Few tickets left on the bus and £70 for your travel.
