  1. That only works if you all want the same person to be elected though, Brock. If all RST members feel the same on every issue, then every member's vote counts the same as if they vote themselves. If they get together, anyone who thinks differently from the majority of those votes has their vote cast against their wishes.

Yeah but the RST can then say to the club, we have x amount of votes behind us and we think this *insert issue*.

The board will not be swayed by people with only a single vote behind them.

  2. Brock, why would i post something that i knew the answer to? Bearing in mind you said late july, and north rd says late 2014??? Not even on the same end of the spectrum. So no, to answer your point, i don't know at all, and was waiting for the enlightened ones to tell me. I operate from my shitty mobile, if i had a pc or sumin, i would do my own research, but this thing needs to get up and running for abt two hours before i get internet going.

So i assume, maybe incorrectly, someone has a better and or quicker means of informing me. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I just found it strange that someone would post the date on FF and with a few hours you are on here asking the date.

It means fuk all to Rangers now anyway, HMRC cant get money from us and the SPL cant go after our titles now LNS has spoken.

  3. Who, in their right fuckin mind is going to give that shower of useless .selfish, deceitful ,conniving bastards their hard earned cash .ive been a season ticket holder for 40 years as well as a shareholder, but no more. I'll pick and choose from now on in.

Your giving the money to Rangers.

  4. Email from the RST:

My question is this: How does my vote count for more in the EGM if I proxy it to the RST? I'd have thought, if I vote myself, I get my shares' worth of vote, voting as I want.

Presumably, if I proxy my vote to the RST, I have a vote towards what the RST vote for using their (and mine and all proxied) votes.

As far as I can see, this can go one of two ways:

1 - I'm with the majority in the RST votes, so my vote counts for my shares' worth of votes - exactly the same as voting myself.

2 - The majority of the RST (and proxied votes) disagree with me, so the RST proxy my vote but use my shares to vote against my wishes.

Can someone explain if I've misunderstood this. If not, all that can happen is either my vote counts for the same, or my vote counts for nothing. I can't see a way that my vote can count for more.

Strength in numbers, like a local election if 1/2 the town get together and vote as one they can make sure they get the person they want elected. If everyone spreads their votes about then it becomes more of a lottery.

Nobody is forcing anyone to do this, its just put out there as an option, nobody should be reacting like this is some sort of demand for your vote.

  5. King, chairman of South African investment firm Micro Mega Holdings, has also lodged a £20million legal claim against Rangers in a quest to retrieve the investment he made back in 2000 - cash he says he would immediately re-invest in the club.

Looks like he was suing Rangers and asking fans to withhold ST money to force liquidation! Looks like the truth is not quite as clear as some are trying to make out.

    You missed this part.

I further advised Duff & Phelps that any proceeds received in respect of my claim will be reinvested, in full, back into the club.

  6. nah that's just scaremongering

Hopefully but if they prove we setup the new company after the start of what UEFA deem to be the new season it is a possibility.

Dont think for a minute that they have not had plenty of emails about it from the usual sad obsessed lot that dont even go to celtic games anymore coz they are too busy caring about Rangers.

  7. It is being reported as 3 years but I know for a fact that there are currently discussions going on regarding the timing of our newco setup. What i mean is, if it is deemed to have been setup after the start of this season rather than at the end of last season we could be looking at 4 years.

  8. Dave King is just a slightly more successful Craig Whyte.

I dunno how folk can possibly want him anywhere near Ibrox.

Do they only see "Rangers man" in this sentence.

Dave King is a lying, cheating, tax dodging, unscrupulous, irresponsible, conning Rangers man.

This messageboard just p!sses on everyone without offering any alternatives.

Your post is a joke, he is suing SDM for £20M, he is the only one to call him out for what he is. You would prob love Murray back IMO.

  9. They lied pure and simple.

We all know ST holders who dont turn up are counted but look at celtics attendences for their last 2 home games.

    2nd last - 55000 EXACTALY

    Last - 57000 EXACTALY

Clearly such a round number is a lot of rubbish so they HAVE been made up. Until then there was only a couple of 100 between the 2 teams and they knew we had a full house coming for out last game. They posted these bollocks attendences to push ahead of us knowing our coward press wouldnt have the balls to question them.

Also factor in the away support, they had decent away supports from SPL teams adding to their crowds, we had 2 men and dog from we teams with next to no fans. Take away the traveling supports from both of us and we would be higher - FACT.

  10. What an absolute dump paisley road west has become.

I'd love to see the difference in council spending between p.r.w. an London road...or am I just being paranoid?

We should be approaching g.c.c. For financial assistance in developing the areas in and around ibrox, after all the precedent has been set elsewhere.

We could buy the old school opposite edmiston house for a pound for our museum, this seems to be the going rate!

celtic paid c£300,000 for the land that London Road school sits on.

    Just saying.
