Apologies for upsetting a few fellow bears there ( I am one to,honest. Got the season ticket, shares and blind faith to prove it). This post is nothing to do with Mc Coist's ability as a manager, as to be honest I change my mind on an hourly basis regards his qualities. My comments are born from a massive frustration at football fans in general accepting the inflated salaries awarded to players and coaches at many clubs. It boils down to out and out greed. I realise however that I am not going to win this argument as too many people seem to believe that you have to pay the going rate to achieve success and are reluctant to criticise their 'idols'. Maybe i'm just tight as i used to sit mumbling about the salaries dished out during the nine in a row era. How many millionaires did we make back then? Anyway as an earlier poster remarked 'I'm aff to ma fecking bed.'

Surely with the financial restraints faced by our club and supporters in general, coupled with the massive drop in performance on the park you must question the ridiculous salaries our coaching staff are on? 700,000 for Mc Coist! Now my gripe would be the same if the team were playing exceptionally well and winning every game 6-0. It is way way too much. It also makes me question if Ally really does have the club's best interests at heart. I appreciate that he doesn't have the easiest of tasks but when you consider the prime minister (not the wee one) struggles by on 140,000 a year you really have to wonder.
