  1. I can't wait for the day someone takes these cunts to task.

Get jailed for singing in opposition of terrorist sympathisers... Sing songs of support of a terrorist group and you get all sorts of people in power in Scotland trying to claim it's political.

Get to fuck. Britain is a shadow of its former self. We need to take a leaf out of Australia and the likes book. They wouldn't pander to the minority the way we do in this country. Forever scared of offending anyone but our own.

Actually the whole white world is just as badly off as us. Australia has a lot of issues at the moment with its young people (a lot of them greeks and slavs rather than the people who made the country worthwhile) who think the whites should leave Aus and give it back to the aboriginals. I guess they think the world needs another country where people still wear bones in their noses, eat dung and kill each other for religious services.

We shouldn't be so pessimistic: Britain is as likely to lead the counter-revolution as any of our northern european brethren.

  2. What an idiot? Someone who seems to have taken all the excuses of the better off that when they say there's no class distinctions in this country. And to be clear, I'm not the only one that believes it's endemic in Britain, but that it's also causing a backwards movement within our society.

But as you point out, there's probably more like you that don't give a fuck than people like me.

I remember in the 90's when most of the class excuses where being formulated that class does not exist. Not only did everyone know what non-existent thing we were all talking about, they invented a new class, the Under-Class.

Back to class for you dim wit.

There's a distinction between the rich establishment, including people who sit in the House of Lords, and real Lords with proper titles.

The titled families of this country often go through significant hardships to keep hold of the castle their ancestors built 800 years ago, like going without heating during the winter, opening up all but a small apartment of their property to the public, or, as is often the case, giving up their family estate altogether because they can't afford the upkeep. These are people who have led us in peace and in war for hundreds and hundreds of years. Without our horrific class system, we wouldn't have had an empire, and without that I doubt we'd be any more prosperous than any other generic small European country - and certainly Glasgow would be simply a regional town of little consequence as 18th century maps make clear. Lords have no bearing on whether or not our children are successful. Lords are an eccentric and thoroughly British by-product of our great history, they do no-one any harm and (sadly in my view) have little say on anything, even constitutional matters. They are not the problem.

  3. Exactly!!

Knighthoods are as horrendously out-dated as the house of lords.

Being called "SIR" (not that I would ever adhere!) for playing football whilst our soldiers can't even be looked after properly when they return from service is disgusting.

Complete lot of "class issue" bullshit.

    And,as for voting Labour............NEVER!!

What about if the soldiers were treated properly, then it would be ok?

  4. Buying a club already in the top 2 divisions seems like pie-in-the-sky thinking. My guess is they would buy a non-league club which is situated in a fairly populous area but has no other large teams, much like Leipzig. They could do very well out of pumping money into the team as they seem to actually have a footballing infrastructure, but the main problem lies with where they will go, as they simply could not compete with 'established' football clubs if they were to go to an area like London, and purchasing an existing club in the 2 top divisions runs a huge risk of alienating the fans there.

There are some obvious places devoid of their share of premiership and championship clubs - the south coast, east anglia, the west country, and Yorkshire is pretty under-represented

    How about Red Bull Portsmouth?

  5. They'll never get one of the Premiership teams but they might get one the Championship or League 1&2 teams. My heart would go out to the supporters of that team because the club loses its identity.

Ideally the only club they could take over would be MK Dons. Red Bull Dons is not just the least offensive name I can think of, but also probably the newest club in the league system, AND their F1 racing franchise is in Milton Keynes too. Wow, I need a consultancy fee for this four seconds' worth of thought.

  6. I think there is a lot in what you are saying, they have been pretty average team for a few years driven on by an exceptional manager. Now they only have a good manager.

Exactly. The EPL has been declining for a while. It seemed a hell of a lot better quality ten years ago, with Arsenal's unbeaten team and then Mourinho's Chelsea. Ferguson has simply managed to weather the storm, outlast Wenger and Mourinho's teams and then picked up the baton afterwards.

Mancini wasn't experienced enough in the EPL to do what he needed to do to win a second league (and in the end he only won the first one because of Joey Barton!).

But now with a stronger Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City, Man Utd will inevitably be pushed to the back of the bunch.
