  1. even 1 defeat against QOTS, Raith or Falkirk would be a start. can't see us beating them at Tynecastle unfortunately

Even one draw before we play them ( assuming we win our three games) would mean we go into that game knowing if we win it we go top. They've been under no real pressure yet it'll be interesting to see how they react.

  2. Their next four games are against four of the best sides in the league. Rangers,QoS,Raith & falkirk. Now considering they'll be inactive for the best part of a fortnight & that two of their 1st choice back line will be missing for a least 2 of those games. Wilson (hamstring) patterson (straight red 2 match ban). I think the tide could turn in our favour. Thought?

  3. I expect the League and all 3 cups this season. We had a partial embargo and some bad luck in last seasons cups. I was convinced we'd go all the way in the SC :(. We have a squad full of young promising players. We have added some steel this transfer window and I think with Miller/Boyds influence last term we would certainly have done better. Sick of folk knocking our Squad, we have a great squad. Every team in the country wants to beat us so no game is easy but I have a good feeling about this coming season.

    .

I've got a good feeling about this season. A lots been said about the united game last year where we lost the game upfront & at the back both areas of the team we've strengthened & when I look @ the rest of the teams most are weaker than they were last year. So why can't we win a cup?

  4. I think history will be kind to us.tut not seem like it at the minute, right enough, but the journey back will be worthwhile. Anyone thinking about not attending next year for football reasons needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

I couldn't agree more. I think very few individuals will be held accountable if any but we'll be back @ our best one day sooner rather than later hopefully. Things can turn around so quickly think how o'neill turned it around v advocat & mcleash v O'Neill. Imagine that happening & the media histeria that ensews but knowing deep down that you didn't support the team for a season or two. So come on let's get behind the team it's what we do.

  5. Will we be back? yes we wil,l everything in Scottish football between us and them is cyclical. The question is how can we get back as quick as possible, The simple answer is to quit all pulling the ship in different directions. Until we ALL start to pull together we will continue to go round in circles. The sooner some wannabees get it that they are just that wannabees. Mr.King the days of Murray and Whyte where you get control of Rangers by spending other peoples monies are OVER. You cannot and will not starve out the institutional investors they have bank accounts a lot deeper than even yours, so IF you really want to get control of Rangers Man Up and buy someone out. Otherwise take Houston, Murray, and Dingwall with you and fuck off. I might not like the generals in charge at present but if the troops fail to follow them then we are going to continue to be over run by our enemies, we have enough of them outside the brick walls of Ibrox Stadium without having them within. I was BORN a Rangers fan, I have no other option than to follow Rangers so for the love of the wee man quit the fucking infighting and lets get our shit TOGETHER and get OUR club back to where it belongs. There will be time enough for family infighting when we are in a position of strength, hell it never stopped us before.

Well said. Take a bow sir!

  6. What a post!! Sums up perfectly how I feel. Well done sir. I believe that come the start of the season the rangers fans will rally because deep down we all feel like you do. It's easy to belive that our support is taken for granted by many @ the club. Players, managers, coaches, chairmen, board members but they come & go the only constant is us the fans. RTID

  7. Well done to you all. I respect every fans decision on the boardroom stuff but there's only one looser if we don't buy and that's the club. Looking forward to next season safe in the knowledge that the rangers fans will rally. That's what we do!

RANGERS NOW RANGERS THEN RANGERS FOREVER

  8. I've been sitting for the last couple of seasons wishing only the best for my team & a club legend (ally) but today is the final straw. Our manager looked lost today & if I'm honest has done for a long time. Two questions to ask yourself. 1) could someone else do a better job with the players & facilities rangers have @ this time? 2) When money becomes available to invest in the squad can we trust the manager to spend well? Ally your a legend & should always be unless you win the Scottish cup this year I fear for your legacy @ our club.

  9. If you look @ the top three in the championship just now they've won roughly half there games. If that's the same next year we should romp it! Depending on how the play offs go the championship could be the top league in the country. Premiership? No Glasgow derby no edinburgh derby? no Dundee derby? The highland derby will be their blue ribbon game for fuck sake!!! It's all about the rangers!!!

  10. It's a no brained for me. 2 year deal with a third as an option. We should win the championship without him but it would give him and Clarke a season to build up an understanding up front. 3 transfer windows left to build a team that going to challenge when we get back. Giving untried youth is a great idea but that ship has sailed the time to do that was 2 years ago. We can't go back in time. Boyd is gamble free guaranteed goals against every team in the country. Old firm games take care of themselves. If we want to challenge we have to beat everyone else and with boyd I believe we'd do that.

  11. I think a Scottish cup win this season would be right up there with anything we've achieved domesticly. Sure we've got the 2nd biggest budget in the country but it got to be the smallest budget we've had in 20 years! Add that to our off field problems & I say again its right up there. Just think 9 more wins this season & there's 3 trophies in the bag. That's sure to rattle a few cages!

  12. It's 10.00 am, I awake, get up and head to the bathroom armed with my iPad to ready myself for a new day. Not being the best morning person I regularly require the assistance of youtube to blast out some music, which helps stimulate the senses and motivates me for the day ahead.

It's not long before I load a few wee Rangers sing along tunes, joyously followed by clips of bygone matches. As such my beautifying routine ( shave, shower etc ) has been dutifully concluded in a seamless fashion thanks to emotive inner stirrings which those Rangers songs and videos evoked.

Undoubtedly at this moment you are overtly saying WTF is this all about.? Well I'm describing the catalyst or instigating moment which empowered me to put my feelings and thoughts into this new thread.

Like a lot of Rangers fans I'm worn out and sick of being demoralised by the continuous wave of negativity that is heaped upon our club. Most of it is from well documented and obvious sources and the rest is coming from within our own ranks. There is absolutely nothing to be gained by me going into any specific occurrences in detail so I won't waste the time.

Whilst watching those video clips of past on the field Rangers exploits it triggered a wave of excitement and enthusiasm for what lies ahead not just for the club but equally for the fans. We have got such exciting and unique times on the horizon and so much of this is overlooked due to being swamped with mischievous negativity. I suppose you'd call it a moment of clarity.

Come the summer of 2014 we will have just won our second consecutive title and will have one final hurdle left in our rise back to the top division. ( we also have a World Cup to look forward to ). Next season in the Championship will see a huge renewed interest both from the media and the watching world in Rangers fc and we must devour that opportunity .

I predict that as next season goes on the excitement and defiance amongst our fans will reach fever pitch and as the clinching of that title arrives it will see a wave of emotion and determination never seen before in the Ibrox legions.

These things will have massive knock on effects for the whole of the club. Due to the optimism and energy which will engulf Rangers I predict that this will draw huge additional revenue offers and opportunities for the club which with a firmly established board we will maximise.

When the season 2015/16 arrives virtually every game will feel like a cup final, Ibrox will be sold out every game, merchandise will go through the roof, our forums will be awash once more in ( football chat ) and our support will finally be galvanised. Now let me temper this ever so slightly by admitting that I don't expect Rangers to destruct every team in sight in that first year back, honestly I really don't know how we are gonna fare.

But hey that's half the beauty and excitement. The point is we'll be back and we will party the whole way through the season in the stands no matter what the on field brings. So many points to prove and so many games to look forward to, for varying reasons. ( Ist game of season, Ist game at Ibrox, all the games v them, cup clashes, the chance to qualify for Europe and the chance to win our title back ). Just to name a few.

I know we have been through so much and it has torn us apart internally, but we've turned the corner, we are moving forward and getting stronger, we have remained unbowed and unbroken in the face of such criminally overwhelming adversity and we will be much the stronger and better prepared for it.

The latest accounts published recently have received much scorn and attention and on the face of it have many people worried. Those accounts are so misleading and are littered with misappropriated transactions and one off payments. They will have zero bearing on the accounts we produce when we are reestablished in the top division.

The topic of Ally M'Coist and his Management capabilities is a popular yet sensitive one amongst us bears. Frustrations, differences and anger are understandable and are regularly debated on the forum. To me in our present circumstances it's of lesser importance as long as he delivers results. Having Ally as our Manager is beneficial to the club in many other ways in our current position and to replace him now would be detrimental.

When we reach the top division that's a different story and he should then come under the strictest scrutiny afforded to any other Manager. ( There's no right or wrong here, that's just my calculated assessment ).

Over the last 2 years The Rangers story has attracted much attention across the world, most of it negative from our perspective. But come next season and beyond that story will grab the attention for all the right reasons. Resolve, integrity, defiance, loyalty, determination, passion, pride and justice will be at the forefront of these new chapters. With it will come overwhelming publicity and a marketing dream, we all need to play our part and spread the positivity.

This club has so much that most other clubs will never have and we need to realise it and embrace it.

I'm prepared for those who will dismiss my sentiments and optimism but I refuse to wallow in negativity any longer. I can't wait for the seasons ahead and the bedlam that will come with it. I hope all the forum guests take heed because when you thought you were going to be witnessing our funeral you were in fact witnessing our resurrection.

I believe that the near future holds not more turbulent times, but in fact OUR FINEST HOUR!

. Well said sir!! I've never posted before ( don't even know if I'm doing it right) couldn't agree more
