So basically, what I'm saying is that if we end up having to play the likes of Fleck, Davis, Naismith, Lafferty, Whittaker......out wide again this season......is it really that much of a disaster ?
Not a disaster, but it's something I do not want to see. Can we not just sign players, and play them in their proper positions, is that too much to ask for?
Whittaker, Fleck, Naismith, Lafferty... are not the answer for the wider areas of the park, so we need players capable of playing out wide, ones with a bit of pace, directness, capable of delivering a ball, adding a bit of balance to the side...etc
If we can't identify at least one wide player, and get him in, then there is something far wrong.
