Good post mate, although a wee bit difficult to follow at points!
I'm in a similar situation to you, in that my partner 0f 18yrs is very ill and struggles mightily in day-to-day life. Rangers have been a major part of my life for all my adult years, and most of my childhood, but I've known for a while now that there are more important things in life. That doesn't stop me being passionate about Rangers, but it does stop me from going overboard every time we encounter a setback. And the fact that I'm a wee bit older than some on here means that when players like Carlos leave us, I can think "Oh well, a good player has gone. Another will arrive soon to fill his place." It has always been so with Rangers.
Good luck to you and your girlfriend mate!
Best of luck to you as well
I mentioned my GF as a other side of the coin as to the actual performance and commitment well lack of to her commitment and drive to achieve the things we take for granted apart from maybe novo papac they all should hold thier heads in shame, in fact out off all thier wages apart from boyd and lafferty the should refund the poor fans who travelled to watch them.
