Weighed down with the loot in his pockets?
At least he has lost the two spots on his chin.
-
That tells you all you need to know about McCoist when he retains the services of the worst manager in our history. No wonder he was pish.Depends on how you measure it. Statistically it would be Ian Durrant and McCoist would be one of the most succesful.
-
Exactly. Lets hope he does better than that clown. The eejit's assistant for the last 3 1/2 years?
-
Maybe. It can only be better than the eejit who has been at the helm for the last 3 years. In the meantime we have to support the caretaker manager.I would imagine we will have a new management team within a week to 10 days.
-
He can only play the hand he has been dealt. If he makes changes and recalls a couple of players like Gallagher and tries to bring us entertaining football once more I will back him to the hilt. Lets all hope he can do the job.Is it incredibly sad that you've just got me incredibly excited, who fucking knows he could a left mid at left mid!

What was your opinion on McSCIAF being appointed Rangers manager?Agree. Appointing the ex state aid fc reserve coach only underlines how far we have fallen and is not an inspired choice.
Difficult to see him being the answer and Rangers should not have a temporary manager.
A new manager has enough time to recover our season and get us promoted. It may be through the playoffs thanks to the failings of the players and management team.
-
If he does drop McCulloch I think the fans will be right behind him no matter the result against Hibs.Go on Kenny.. drop Jig.
-
After everything we have went through, as a Club and as fans, I really hope Kenny can produce the goods and be offered the managers job fulltime.
Every cloud has a silver lining. Hopefully !
-
Our current manager had zero experience. John Greig had zero experience albeit doing a better job than the current incumbent and Graeme Souness had zero experience. I believe Bill Struth had zero experience.I didnt expect a new manager tomorrow no.
I also didnt expect a guy with zero managerial experience put in charge to the end of a season crucial to the future of this club.
Big opportunity for McDowell. I wish him the best and hope he succeeds.
-
Im prepared to give Kenny a chance so will now return.
-
Thanks but no need for the advice. Im not honouring my ST. I have stopped attending games until that liars employment with Rangers comes to an end so I am giving it a rest.Everyone would look a liar if you grilled them twice a week for 3 years, give it a rest.

I don't think we will receive anything because I do not think he will be sold unless he hands in a transfer request. Some people are very nieve when it comes to the position we are in and also players value. A players value is only what people are willing to pay for him.
Lewis is a player with fantastic potential, however he is at a club who desperately need cash in January, which will drive down his value. The clubs that come in for MacLeod have us over a barrel. £1.5m will be the top end we receive.
Im a bit optimistic due to the appointment of Llambias.
McCoist will be gone by the end of the week and the new manager will have seen enough that he will want to keep hold of Lewis due to his obvious potential.
-
Is there any of the 12 we would want to keep? The bigger picture is this coming summer when we have 12 first team players out of contract , we are facing a grim future
A new manager might be delighted by the fact.

Q: Will you proxy your shares this year to the Calderwood supporters club?
A: I’ve not even thought about the agm, there’s been so much going on. It’s been a heck of a week.
About 2 weeks before the agm last year he was quoted as saying he did not know how he would vote. When asked again about 3 days before it he said he had a long-standing agreement that the Calderwood RSC would have the proxy for his shares at the agm. I guess that long-standing agreement has been binned?
The guy is just a liar and how anyone cannot see through him is beyond me.
-
Wet weather, shite football and making your way home on a cold dark night.
I think I will go to a bluenose pub instead.
-
He will be gone after the AGM and before Hibs. If the Board were going to get an easy ride then he would be gone already. Put him on gardening leave, bring in a new guy even on 400 grand and 2 years from now the cost of the manager would be the same as keeping McCoist but more money will have come into the club in that time.
-
I used a term in the other thread. McCoist is now unique. With our fanbase split McCoist has actually become what both sides hate. On top of that he has reached the level of his incompetence.Personally there is nothing left to like about McCoist, I'll not call him names but I just don't like what he's become. He's no longer a legend in my eyes. There are two possibilities, he is only there for the money and wants a large pay off, or he's doing this to try and force King into Rangers.
Those two possibilities highlight the lack of integrity the man has. I cannot wait to see that man leave Rangers, and I hope he completely severs ties with the club, no longer a legend. Fuck him.

You cannot manage a team when your not a leader yourself. We have no leadership in the boardroom, dugout or the pitch. Having no leadership in the boardroom should only bring out the leadership qualities of the manager and the captain and they have. The people concerned shelf-life have all expired. It was easy - big budget - a dog could have won those leagues - cups - and so on. Some folk don't want to acnowledge anything positive about Ally, nor acknowledge just how difficult managing a team is with no stability or leadership at the top - the support is angry and that anger is getting directed at the only man who has tried to provide leadership and continuity !
-
He didn't do a huge amount at Rangers worth remembering!
Getting in the team at that time was a feat.
-
The Rhebel would have the Tommy Sheridan stuff as front page as soon as he was appointed.Using Albion car Park as a dogging site sealed the deal
-
Trivial.
Have the UoF released a statement slating the Board for not paying Neil when he asked and for throwing him under a bus when they didnt agree to a deal on Neils terms when he negotiated a contract?
Now that is important.
-
Green. Another Ally backed to the hilt. All tarred with the same brush, that sort.Like the no reward Green worked for?
-
Last time I resigned the manager was away on a business trip. I had to wait two days. Somebody decides they are leaving then that's it. Ally always seems to have made out he has had a great relationship with all relevant members of the Boards including Sandy Easdale. Not a lot they can do apart from negotiate his settlement.
What if they made 30 people redundant to finance Allys terms? How would Ally feel about that I wonder?
-
Which knob-end will say that on behalf of our players this time?
Good luck Kenny McDowall
