Hello, and thanks to Don and the admin guys on your site for authorising my log on. I have not had a chance yet to read through all the posts but i am happy to answer any questions you have on Fanownership models (there are many of them) I should state for the record that I got involved in the whole Fanownership thing via a social enterprise route and not a particular interest in Football. Basically as someone who believes in the power of Community Asset Ownership i ended up being introduced to several opportunities one of which ended up being a Scottish Football Club. Football Clubs ticked a lot of boxes for trying a Cooperative Community (in this case Fan based) Asset purchase and so a three year journey began in getting to know this particular Club and its Fans and learning all I could about Football and CIC's and Fanownership etc. In the end we were not successful. We made a £1.25m offer raised from over 1000 fans but it was not the value the owners wanted. I resigned from the board of the Club thereafter and have been working as a volunteer with a number of Clubs in Scotland and England with Fans Groups, BOD's and Club Owners of various Fanownership models since. I produced the blog mainly in response to being asked about Fanownership by a number of Rangers Fans and thanks very much t those of you that have taken the time to read and engage with it.
