  1. It appears that Haris Vuckic has no future at Newcastle as Steve McClaren has stated he is not in his plans. A number of championship clubs are showing an interest ie Bristol City,Hull,Bolton and Burnley but no interest from Rangers! Looks like we are more interested in 25 year old Martyn Waghorn who is not the most prolific goalscorer (7 goals in 29 appearances) for Wigan. Vuckic scored 8 goals in 17 appearances for us and loved by the fans. I am sure Mark Warburton knows what he is doing but just seems like a no brainer to me!

  2. Ok, as an English teacher, I suppose I should answer this one. It's really either or.. There are various collective terms that can be used as a singular or plural, for example staff, government etc. Which is right? It depends, as different grammar books say different things, and American English and British English differ here a bit. So , basically, both are fine; however, I personally find it more natural to say" Rangers are." That will be 20 euros please!

A Chinese boy teaching English! Is you taking the piss? :P

  3. I think there is a slight advantage for us playing at home in the first leg. My reasons being that if we can put them to the sword in front of 40,000 plus bears then we can take a two or three goal cushion to Easter Road. If we pulled that off then they might look at the second leg as mission impossible. Then again with our defensive record it is probably a case of the heart ruling the head. Still confident we will do it over the two legs!

  4. A lot of doom and gloom merchants on this thread I am confident we will win both legs against Queen of the south. The bookies have us favourites for tomorrows game Ladbrookes offering 11 to 4 home win and evens for us to win. Bookies are usually right that's why they make money. We are Rangers we are better than them have a bit of faith Stuart McCall will deliver when the chips are down.

  5. Perhaps the Rangers board are waiting until they have met with sports direct as they have a meeting planned within next two weeks. Would not make sense to bring out a new strip with Ashley owning the badge and getting 75% of the revenue. With a bit of luck the meeting will bear fruit by coming to a compromise that will benefit both parties. It goes without saying that we need to pay back the £5m loan ASAP.
