  1. Absolutely spot on here:

In terms of Rangers, well, where do you start? When you look at the Gers away record this season maybe we should have seen that result coming. Four games against the current top four this season (Hearts x2, Aberdeen and Celtic) have yielded 0 points, three goals for and a whopping 13 against. It's an appalling record.

When the better teams in the league harry and press Rangers, put cross balls into the box and are positive they just cannot handle it. Mark Warburton will not change his philosophy and on poor pitches when the opposition are positive and attack them it's a major problem.

Defensively they are so vulnerable as well and it still hasn't been addressed. Look at Rob Kiernan's defending for Hearts opening goal. It's an absolute embarrassment. He is picking up Nowak in the box, a high floated cross is sent in and at no point does he even LOOK at the man he's marking or get side on.

It's basic defending. He then gets totally caught underneath the ball misjudging the flight and leaves his man a free header. Unacceptable and not the first time.

Even for Hearts third goal he totally stops playing when the foul is given and isn't even looking when the quick free kick is taken, leaving his defensive partner Hill exposed v Johnsen which led to the goal.

He just isn't good enough defensively for the open style of play Warburton instills in his teams.

Another player who seems to escape a lot of criticism is Andy Halliday. Yes he is a die-hard Rangers fan who stood on the terraces with the punters but I struggle to see what he is bringing to the Rangers team at the minute. He toils in that defensive midfield role as he doesn't screen or protect the centre backs well enough – let alone sniff out dangerous situations. Also he gets caught on the ball far too many times. Hearts second goal a prime example. His place must be under serious pressure with the arrivals of Jon Toral and Emerson Hyndman

What is Rangers transfer policy going forward? What is the long term plan? Are they just a feeder club who get talented young players up from Arsenal or Bournemouth and give them a platform to develop and play before sending them back down the road? This is Glasgow Rangers who are one of the biggest clubs not only in the UK but in Europe. It's totally unacceptable.

When Dave King arrived he boasted of £30million in the kitty and the buzzwords of 'over-investment' and challenging Celtic for the league in two years were brazenly bandied about. Where is that money? Rangers are either signing guys on permanent deals from (with no disrespect) Accrington, Port Vale and Doncaster or getting young lads in on loan. Now either King doesn't have the money he promised or he doesn't trust Warburton enough to give him it to spend.

Looking at the high profile signings Warburton has made it's maybe a mixture of both. When King first came in he slaughtered the previous transfer policy and 'quick fix' signings on inflated wages and stated he wanted to sign young players with big potential and sell them on for big money down the line. Rangers have one player (the very talented Barrie McKay) who currently they would get really good money for and that's about it. Senderos, Kranjcar, Hill, Barton and Garner hardly fit the above transfer strategy.

The aforementioned players wouldn’t be far off costing Rangers 100k a week in wages and bar Hill have all been a disappointment. Barton was a disaster and ended up walking away with a fat pay off in his pocket for doing very little. That's not taking into account spending a 1.5million transfer fee on a striker who to date has scored three goals in 18 games.

So Warburton HAS had good money to spend at least on wages for these guys and blew it. Money Aberdeen could only dream off. Yet they remain locked in a battle with the Dons and a country mile behind Celtic.

  2. Nobody will be as bad as that fanny as a manager.

At least MW is a decent human being not milking cash from the fans and telling lies. He is also professional and has standards. Not letting players boot balls in training at his bare arse.

    No comparison.

MW picked up Allys shambles of a team

Helicopter Sunday, last season's Scottish Cup semi-final, the Old Firm game with Edu's late winner, Fiorentina in the UEFA Cup semi, etc. Those are the obvious ones; we've been fucking spoiled.

I'll always remember the 2008 CIS Cup final against Dundee United. Levein had built a decent team up there including Hunt, Conway, de Vries & Flood and we'd drew 3-3 up there earlier in the season. They went ahead twice in both normal time and extra time, but Boyd came on and equalised twice, then scored the winning penalty. That was that, for me. No matter what he did, left for free or struggled in 2014/15, he was a legend in my eyes.

The 2011 CIS Cup final was also memorable. It was Lennon's first full season, we played them seven times and it had become very heated to the extent that it was mentioned in parliament. In the replay of the game Diouf and Brown clashed, they put us out, so they were favourites according the bookies, media, etc. We all know what happened in extra time when Weiss sent Jelavic through on goal, though... what euphoria.

A special mention to our 3-2 win up at Pittodrie in 2010, too. 2-0 down, as well. What a turnaround; Walter Smith's specialty that season.

As I said, we've been spoiled.

The 2011 final is spot on as we played in the Europa on the Thursday. Smith put Lafferty on the right to win balls in the air against Izaguire (spelling). We were massive underdogs that day.

  4. Taylor to retire at the end of the year and compete in the world championships for the final time.

I couldn't stand him and always wanted him to get a beat. A horrible loser too but he did make darts what it is today. MVG has taken the scoring onto new levels but 16 times champion in any sport deserves credit.
