It was NOT a huge gamble, considering the board only have the aspiration of being second as their level of investment shows.
Keeping us ticking over until they bag their big pay day.
What big pay day they allegedly have no security for soft loans, king has no shares or remit for NOAL and the CoS action stops us dead in our corporate tracks.
The soft loan lenders will be shittin bricks if they really were stupid enough to take no security.

I don't think his recent meeting had anything to do with the dug out OP
Sorry meant to ask, I take it we are speaking of the 3 man meeting of about 14 days ago ?

As you are well aware his recent meeting had everything to do with everything,I do not believe for one moment it was only shares related, can’t see king and his right-hand man travelling for only that.

Rumour/story call it what you like that McCoist could return as interim manager (another sticking plaster ?)if Pedro is let go.
Not for me I would rather have Pedro and I am not Pedro’s greatest fan, than McCoist every day of the week.
However anything is possible in our present circumstances.

I prefer creaming your sisters, but not after you ?

I stand corrected but it's hardly the big huge deal that some on here make it out to be.
Even if he does have to make an offer probably most won't sell anyway so I doubt much will change.
There is also the small matter of share purchasing funds being held in escrow by TOP, any idea where king will find £12 million for escrow ?

Either King gets forced to buy the shares or not.
Not exactly the end of the world either way.
You obviously have no idea of the ramifications that will ensue if king treats any CoS enforcement order with contempt,he will find our laws rather more severe than brown envelopes in SA.

In all the posts I've seen on King GTF etc I've yet to see one yes one single post on a credible alternative.
This idea that if King walked away tomorrow everything will be rosy and Mr moneybags Rangers man will walk in and start throwing money around is laughable.
Where were these Rangers men over the last 6 years exactly? You can't force the board out if you don't have an alternative to take over I'm not sure people actually grasp that.
I am certain that you do not grasp that king’s future at Rangers and to an extent ours as a club will be decided in the CoS,an event brought about by kings duplicity and total disregard of company law,all I can say is hell mend him and may the Gods smile upon us.

King only owns 15% of the shares you would not even need to deal with him to gain a sizeable majority of shares so to say no one will buy us cause DK wants a huge amount of money for his holdings is not the case.
Also any investor will look at the bottom line of the club I.E. income, debts & future outgoing etc not what King has done in the past.
King doesn’t own or have any remit for shares.

wheres the improvement on last season? what's your timescale?
What is it that you see to make you think he's the man for the Job?
How are we going to get money in January when we are due a six million loan in December?
Perdonally I would keep an eye on the court walls and our property deeds.

Yes, but I can't remember the breakdown and what percentage is in the King camp that could prevent majority ownership.
Also, the asset that is Ibrox. I know most won't let it go, but I can speculate that due to it's age it is a financial millstone to maintain. Kingco will have some mega inflated value on it, when the reality is the opposite.
I could also speculate that king has already sussed a few potential buyers, but the asking price is too high.
I could also suggest that due dilligence may uncover some home truths that king would rather leave under lock and key. Not suggesting impropriety, but how the money is divvied up and who is really getting what. Not that king would give so much of a fuck, as he would have his payday and ride off into the sunset.
In conclusion, this board need to be seriously challenged if we are to move forward, otherwise it's many more years in the shadow of those residing in the east end.
King has told TOP he owns no shares and has no remit to or fron New Oasis,he will shortly be invited to repeat this to the CoS bench.

Your obvious wrong about him not wanting a share issue because he has voted for one twice!!
he can’t have one though can he.

The way forward is forwards, not backwafds sideways or standing still, does the club custodians have the will or wherewithall.
-
We have already waited to long, past the point of no teturn with this regime.

He has just signed a new 3 year contract.

Your good at recycling mate.
Recycling the same old pish time after time.
Whats your alternative to the current board? Lol
It is quite possible that an alternative will be forced by the TOP action at the Court of Session, time will tell.

We are now unfortunately hostage to alleged fortune,King’s.
-
Now the dust has settled (a bit) on reflection I think we were worth a draw yesterday, never got the slightest break anytime and denied a stone wall penalt.
Also selik aren’t actually as good as the press makes them out to be,as Europe proves the certainly can’t handle being closed down quickly,we should try that next time.
-
As I recall Mike Ashley wanted to buy the controlling interest of 30% in our club, factions within our own support campaigned to thwart his offer by complaining to sfa and anyone else they could think of.
What anyone thinks of Ashley’s MO or of the man himself is immaterial,he is a man with considerable resources who let’s face it is very successful in his field of business.
As for King his attempt tp secure Ibrox as collateral will always rankle with me, at least Ashley ruled that codicil out of his equations.
We are where we are,we looked a gift horse in the mouth the rest is the history of our struggle to exist on anything but loans.

I'd like to know the real amount we've spent. If the quoted figures are accurate, Pedro has to go down as the worst manager in history. St Johnstone likely spent about a fuckin tenner if they're lucky.
no one knows how much or how little we have spent, even Pena’s transfer fee is a different figure in various places.

Who allowed them to bring the RIP banner in they unfurled ?

selik are just at this time the best of a bad lot,we can change that!

What exactly do you expect the board to say? What board EVER comes out and makes a statement after a defeat? I would like to think they will have plenty to say to Pedro in private but a statement? No thanks. Things are embarrassing enough without that.
As I said rhetorical, with one director in the states and the chairman in SA I expect only silence and inn-action, the only Modus Operandi our board employ.
-
Everyone except the board seems to be in the firing line after today’s game,is that fair or even logical.
Surely the buck stops with graeme park he was instrumental in appointing Pedro, will the board make any statement or will they leave Pedro to take the flak on his own, rhetorical I know.
