  1. Superb video as always Jules and a good wee toe-tapping tune to boot!
  2. Great video as always Jules. Being on the 'other side' of the pond I certainly look forward to your weekly productions, as they give extra footage that you would not normally see. Unless of course you were actually at the game. This video was particularly poignant with Fernando's emotional appearance at half-time. I lost a very dear friend a few years back to ALS, and know personally how savage this disease can be in its latter stages. Watching Fernando' s courage on a highly charged-day for him, i'm sure, certainly made me think back to my friend with fond memories and brought a snile to my face on the antics we used to get up to. So, once keep up the good work! Cheers
  3. Fantastic video as always Jules. Very poignant and dignified. I always look forward to watching your videos. Well done!
  4. Great Video! As always. By the looks of things it could have been double that scoreline.
  5. Remember being at this game. Big DJ did indeed run amok that day ( a Sunday if I recall) We used to drink at "Waves" down on the Clyde by the suspension bridge. We were there that night after the game and then went next door at the dancing ( was it called Spankies at the time, i can't remember) Anyway all the Scotland players were in that night, Hartford,, Don Masson, Rioch, Big McQueen and Joe Jordan et al. I remember speaking with McQuuen (a real gentleman) and Jordan. I mentioned to Jordan that big DJ had, had a stellar season and that he would give him a run for his money for the starting striker position in Argentina. He looked at me and laughed and said " I can tell you right now Derek Johnsone will not kick a ball in Argentina , mark my words" I'll never forget that, not sure if Jordan was at the wind up or not. Or if he was aware of a tiff between DJ and McLeod, who knows, but he did seem pretty sure and adamant about it. And lo and behold sure enough he was right, big DJ didn't play at all at those finals, not even as a sub. Even after his 30 yard bullet header against Wales i think it was and a 40 goal season with Rangers. That was some team Scotland had back then, when it was a real Scotland Team! We were just mis-managed with McLeod believing his own hype.
  6. Great Article D'Art, as always. Shabby journalism with a slant on sensationalism unfortunately is the new norm. Anything goes these days in order to sell newspapers and get tweet followers. Just take a look at any newspaper banner headline (especially about Rangers) and you will quickly see that the actual comments made in the 'piece' bears no resemblance to the headline. It's a numbers game for them, and negativity (a.k.a. Rangers bashing) trumps all! Whatever gets people talking about their articles is all they care about. They incite in order to feed our foes' hunger on sticking it to us and of course to ire us Rangers Fans. They play both sides for their own agenda; where unfortunately, truth and facts barely are given the light of day or a second thought.
