    We are replacing squad players with same abilty players on lower wages Imo..

    Amount millions we have pumped on players and wages past 3 season is crazy, paying like off lafferty off after paying 700k to bring him in, other are injury players who have done well to come back but not given a chance...ie dorrans and rossiter. 

    We are loaning them out but probably paying majority of wage. Be interesting to see playing n coaching staff outgoings per week atm .... if topic but have to say

    Barker did look pacey at the hivs..good luck kid if u can get game time that is

    We haven't signed one more defender apart from Edmundson which is a slight concern, we need to reinforce the full back department, particularly LB. I'm happy to give Barisic another chance as I believe there is a player in there but we need an option if he doesn't come good, and that option should not be Flanagan or Halliday. I wouldn't argue with another RB but not a priority because Tav is class, but if he gets injured we will miss him. 

    Davis and Aribo are two strong additions in midfield, giving us a good choice between them  and Arfield, Jack and Kamara. We obviously still have McCrorie, Dorrans, Rossiter, Holt and Docherty in that position but I honestly think first team chances will be few and far between for those 5.

    Forwards, hopefully Stewart is going to be used as backup through the middle and not out wide where McInnes used him for some reason, showed far more potential as a forward however he doesn't really strengthen the starting 11.  I honestly see him as a straight up replacement for Lafferty if he moves, i.e, third choice striker. Not our weakest position but I would like to see another quality striker brought in.

    Ojo, Jones and Hastie add a bit more depth to the wide areas. Ojo possibly strengthens the starting 11 (who knows honestly), I imagine he will be competing with Candeias for first choice on the right, or at least I hope he does. Jones, possibly just a rotational player in Gerrards plans, I believe he is capable and would be solid and reliable,  but maybe not be our best player week in week out, and i'm sure he can play both sides as well which is useful. Sensible, if uninspiring signing. Hastie is one for the future, I imagine he will go on loan this season. We also have Murphy coming back and the possibility of Kent returning so we really don't need any more wingers.

    So I would to see another CB, LB and Striker brought in and hopefully real quality in these positions. I think our signings so far 100% improve our squad compared to last season, but we now need no more squad players and a couple of real quality players brought in.

    Hopefully McCrorie, Docherty, Middleton, Rossiter and Hastie all go on loan. We should really try to offload Lafferty, Grezda, Dodoo, Herrera, Holt and possibly Dorrans.

    Dorrans , Holt  and Rossiter will be away.  Hastie not going on loan.
