    I really need to stress this to you. When I say 'pub' band I am referring to fat, slack jawed denim clad yokels who can't carry a tune in a bucket and only got the 'gig' because they were hired for a keg of stale beer or their bass player is banging the landlord's daughter. The sort of awful muzak inner city pubs are plagued with up and down the land as some has been or never have been screams down the microphone murdering a classic. Or worse, subjecting us to their badly written, badly organised compositions about some dull inconsequential trouble in their life that make us all want to gouge our own eyes and ears out.

    The truth is for years we spent way beyond our means.

    As Murray likes to say, time and time again, "you have to cut your cloth accordingly", well if he'd have done that we wouldn't be in the shit we are, AGAIN, but I digress.

    Teams in Spain, Italy, France, Germany all generate their TV money separately (They sell their own rights), England (Premiership) has a sponsorship deal worth billions thanks to SKY and the bottom team in the EPL get's a minimum £30 million and then, if they are relegated, they get a parachute payment of £25 million to lessen the hardship.

    Our sponsorship, the SPL, is worth a measly £25-30 million.

    Murray has a lot to answer for with regards to our debt and the way he has handled our club.

    Funny how when, both times we announce debts so large he seems to disappear into the background and get off rather fucking lightly.

    also compare and contrast the treatment of donald findlay qc with that of pearson and hartson - also look at such shite as accusations of sectarian grass cutting at ibrox and the hoohah last year regarding the hokey cokey ffs. if any rangers fan believes theres fair and balanced reporting in this country then they are a fucking idiot. no offence.

    Donald Findlay - Video of him singing TBB at the Edmiston suite and some handwringing wank sold it to the papers. Next thing you know Donald is a big bad proddy, sectarian song singing bigot. Hounded until he was ousted from the job that he loved from the team he loved and supports. Never mind the fact Neil McCann is directly below him and singing the exact same fucking song, it's only arch-bigot Findlay they are interested in.

    Jeanette Findlay (Chair of The Celtc Trust and lecturer at Glasgow University) - Says in a radio 5 live interview that the singing of I Ran Away songs are acceptable. Cue the days and days of papers going after this arch-bigot, well no, she is still in both jobs and the matter was forgotten about rather fucking quickly.

    I've avoided this thread (as I usually do with this sort), but my tuppenceworth goes as follows;

    Why are we the only club in the world that is frowned upon for upholding and celebrating the origin of it's past?

    That is all.

    I don't think we are, although several would perhaps claim we are the most vilified.

    I would have to ask then, who else is? Especially in such a public manner, and, with such vitriol

    Barcelona and Real Madrid both have aspects of unsavoury history dating back to the Spanish Revolution. Our rivals across the city are an obvious example.

    Please show me where celtc have been attacked in the way we have?

    If you love being a Protestant so much go to church, they could do with your support. Remember Rangers isn't a religious organisation, it is a football club. If you want to go and praise your particular flavour of sky fairy head down your local Kirk or church.

    No matter which way you play this they are inextricably linked, whether you like it or not.

    Same old rhetoric coming from you, you are boring in the extreme, do you copy and paste???

    Rangers aren't a religious instituion, they never have been and never will be. If you want to worship god to to church and praise him. How many times do you do the bouncy in the church pews? None? So why are you desperate to worship god in a football stadium?

    Who said they were a religious institution?? Not me, must be you making things up AGAIN, they are an institution though...

    I did, however, say the were linked and have been for years, Rangers allowed the OO to conduct services at Ibrox stadium for many a year.

    Until murray pulled the plug on that.

    Was in bed last night when i heard this voice talking to me, i looked up and saw that it was God. He said Minstral old pal, i used to look down and be proud that i had made Ibrox a church that was a place for the Protestant community. Now as i look down, its a ungodley place where my followers are now persecuted for their faith Amen.

    I find it repulsive that the bheasts can celebrate their faux Irishness and embrace their Catholicity, sing about murderers and racketeers, celebrate British soldiers, of all creeds, colours and faiths, being killed while doing their duty, yet we are made to feel somehow dirty by being Protestant, British and Proud and a Rangers fan.
