I've heard that former Rangers goalkeeper holds the world record shut out, apparently over a thousand minutes!
I read this before but cant find it for a link.
Can anyone confirm this? Or indeed what defence shielded the keeper ( the famous Iron Curtain perhaps? )
Cheers for any help!
Chris Woods holds (or held) the british record with 1,196 minutes.
Abel Resno holds the World Record of 1,275 minutes while playing for Athletico Madrid in the early 90's and as far as I'm aware never played for Rangers.
Woods was protected by Butcher, Gough and Roberts among others.

On his way to Ibrox in a slightly different way?

as for boyd he is a plank of wood and cant score against any big teams.
Better than Miller, Beattie and Zurawski.
ye at least miller can score aginst big teams, Zurawski can at lleast score in an old firm game,as for Beattie he has been injured all the time but when hes playing hes better than any rangers striker.
You are not seriously comparing Beattie to Boyd?
That's like comparing Kraft Cheese Slices to the far superior Dairylee.
Outside Venegoor he would walk into the current Celtic team. His scoring record speaks for itself.
I remember the same crap being spouted when McCoist was banging in 30 a season, and it's as ridiculous now as it was back then.

source?
i think rangers may use the money they got from the clement deal to do this?
I don't think so mate. I think we will use the money from Clement to bring in Lee McCulloch.
He apparantly is set on getting Gow, McCulloch and Hartley. Wouldn't surprise me to see them here before the end of the transfer window. As WS has said though, he's not going to buy for the sake of it, if he can't get who he wants he'll wait until the summer.

------------Novo----Boyd------------
I'm not convinced he'll drop Svennson to be honest. Can see him going with the same team that started last week, with Ugo coming on later. Has anyone given it thought that he may move the team to a 3 5 2 as this is traditionally Walters favourite line up?

Greig, Cooper, McCoist and Laudrup.
Couldn't pick an individual best from the Four.
Hartley must make public apology

You aren't seriously suggesting that we don't have a bigoted element in our support?
