  1. Anyone in the team who wears the jersey gets my support ! But his workrate is to be applauded too . If only Boyd had some of it !!!

If Boyd had Miller´s workrate and pace, and Miller had Boyd´s natural scoring ability, we would have two awesome forwards.

  2. How can a professional footballer in this day in age, with the fitness facilities we have at Ibrox, barely last 45 minutes in the heat today i'll never know. He was blowing out of his arse after about 10 minutes, fucking diabolical. I expect the "Boyd can do no wrong" group to come on defending him etc, but this time you can't. He is embarassingly unfit, and the money this guy gets a week is sickening when some people knock their pain in day in day out to get 5 quid an hour , and this joker gets a wee bit hot and wants off the park but earns thousands a week.

Disgusting. No doubt this Summer we will get the "Oh Boyd has been working on his fitness" pish once more, but the fact is it has steadily went down since he joined us, he was much leaner, much livelier, nowadays he looks overweight and can't last half a match in warm conditions.

Whatever way anyone dresses it up, it is simply not good enough.

    Absolutely true.

Our Kris isn´t exactly the most athletic football player around, and by the looks of it, he never will be either. He has certainly worked hard on his overall game lately, but fitnesswise he seems to be a level below the rest.

  3. So what!?!!

If he didn´t feel too good it was for the best for the team that he came off. I know myself that I just can´t play in hot weather either, it drains away my energy levels in no time. It´s of course different from one player to another. IMHO he did the right thing.

Nacho didn´t do too badly, did he?

  4. He played well yesterday, and he has steadily improved his game over the season. I was certain selling Boyd in january would have backfired big time. He certainly proved a lot of doubters wrong.

My favorite player because he SCORES GOALS!

  5. If he leaves I wish him all the best.

Rangers have too many midfielders, especially with the trimming of the squad that´s imminent in the summer, so I think it´s highly probable that Barry will leave. Rangers could get a decent fee for him, he´s one of the top earners in the team, he´s clearly struggling to recapture his form and top cap it all off he´s been in Walter´s doghouse for the past few weeks.

All in all I think it would be best for all concerned if he moved on in the summer, but I will always remember him as damn good midfielder.

  6. Their agenda is clear for all to see.

Just like Peter Martin in the Evening Times who blurted out: 'Rangers blew it big-time', after the 0-0 draw with Hibs. His only reason for doing this was to heap pressure on the Rangers players. It´s so obvious it´s getting ridiculous.

  7. Hell no!

Eck was a good man manager and got the players to play like a team again after Advocaat´s reign in charge, but he was hopeless tactically.

Walter is just as good a man manager, tactically sound (although way too defensive for my liking) but he drives me nuts with his persistance with playing half the team out of position all the time.

I just hope Rangers can find a new manager that can get this team to play proper attacking football again. Even if we win this League title I´m fed up watching the kind of lacklustre and disjointed performances that we have had to suffer for the last four seasons. It´s been dire to watch all too often.

  8. No.

He´s a cheque-book manager and he simply wouldn´t be handed any transfer funds this time around. Not necessarily a bad thing cos he well and truly fucked things up financially last time.

He was also pretty dire at man-management.
