  1. If Boyd had Miller´s workrate and pace, and Miller had Boyd´s natural scoring ability, we would have two awesome forwards.
  2. What can I say? Shogun is just brilliant!
  3. Absolutely true. Our Kris isn´t exactly the most athletic football player around, and by the looks of it, he never will be either. He has certainly worked hard on his overall game lately, but fitnesswise he seems to be a level below the rest.
  4. The midfield was dire to watch today. I hope both Ferguson and McCulloch played their last game for the club today. Thomson, Mendes, Edu and Davis are the men for the job. Rangers were none too clever in attack today either, but then again they got virtually no support whatsoever from the midfield.
  5. So what!?!! If he didn´t feel too good it was for the best for the team that he came off. I know myself that I just can´t play in hot weather either, it drains away my energy levels in no time. It´s of course different from one player to another. IMHO he did the right thing. Nacho didn´t do too badly, did he?
  6. 'There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.' Mark Twain, July 5, 1907.
  7. Of course it all depends on who Rangers got and for what big money... My answer is NO because I would consider it reckless when you keep in mind the state of the clubs finances and that any signing is a gamble that may or may not work. It could endanger the clubs existence.
  8. Nope! For the money Rangers would get they wouldn´t be able to get a replacement that would score as many goals as Kris.
  9. He played well yesterday, and he has steadily improved his game over the season. I was certain selling Boyd in january would have backfired big time. He certainly proved a lot of doubters wrong. My favorite player because he SCORES GOALS!
  10. Oh crap! I would prefer the garden gnome to stick around for another season and drive the mhanky mob nuts.
  11. If he leaves I wish him all the best. Rangers have too many midfielders, especially with the trimming of the squad that´s imminent in the summer, so I think it´s highly probable that Barry will leave. Rangers could get a decent fee for him, he´s one of the top earners in the team, he´s clearly struggling to recapture his form and top cap it all off he´s been in Walter´s doghouse for the past few weeks. All in all I think it would be best for all concerned if he moved on in the summer, but I will always remember him as damn good midfielder.
  12. Their agenda is clear for all to see. Just like Peter Martin in the Evening Times who blurted out: 'Rangers blew it big-time', after the 0-0 draw with Hibs. His only reason for doing this was to heap pressure on the Rangers players. It´s so obvious it´s getting ridiculous.
  13. Actually I don´t think Davie can last forever. Kevin Thomson would be my choice for the next captain.
  14. Mostly 7s from me as I think it was a surprisingly easy game all things considered. Bougherra 8 and MOTM (the real POTY) Davis 8 for an energetic and creative display Boyd 8, created the vital first and scored the clincher A very solid display from the whole team.

  16. YESSSS!!!!!!!!!!! We are the CHAMPIONS! The way the team played today there was only one team that was gonna win the title: "The famous Glasgow Rangers"
  17. He should be fined a weeks wages for what he did. Embarrassing!
  18. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Hell no! Eck was a good man manager and got the players to play like a team again after Advocaat´s reign in charge, but he was hopeless tactically. Walter is just as good a man manager, tactically sound (although way too defensive for my liking) but he drives me nuts with his persistance with playing half the team out of position all the time. I just hope Rangers can find a new manager that can get this team to play proper attacking football again. Even if we win this League title I´m fed up watching the kind of lacklustre and disjointed performances that we have had to suffer for the last four seasons. It´s been dire to watch all too often.
  20. This would be my team as well. I would be tempted to put McGregor in goal as he has more potential for pulling off vital saves in tough games. Could be Walter´s surprise inclusion...
  21. Boyd I had a good shot, but otherwise technically woeful, slow, cumbersome and yes, lazy!
  22. :alexander: :whittaker: :bougherra: :weir: :papac: :davis: :edu: :mendes: :novo: :boyd:
  23. No. He´s a cheque-book manager and he simply wouldn´t be handed any transfer funds this time around. Not necessarily a bad thing cos he well and truly fucked things up financially last time. He was also pretty dire at man-management.
  24. GK:Alexander LB:Papac CB:Bougherra CB:Weir RB:Whittaker LM:Niguez CM:Davis CM:Mendes RM:Novo CF:Naismith CF:Boyd I actually like the look of this starting XI a lot. Maybe all the injuries and suspensions are a blessing in disguise
