  1. ipod touch is something else :) dont like the iphone,

I've got the iPhone. Best thing I have ever bought. Don't think I could live with out it. Carrying a phone and a I touch doesn't do it for me.iPhone does everything!!

I would have got an iphone but i don't get o2 where i lived :(

  2. Finally got it.

Sea battles are great. Land battles are a fucking huge pain in the arse. I knew i wouldn't like them. I've never like the whole gunnery age of Total war.

  3. Am I wrong in thinking that this is really sad? :(

No, what worries me is others think it isn't.

I loathe these online RPG whatever they are games.

I think they're fine. It's just another game to me like fifa or pro evo.

People can take them too far and stop working and such.

I just find it a great fun game. I've met a whole load of peeps that i would prob never meet in rl as i would never socialize with that kind of person.

I would rather play a few hours of eve every night than play COD. What's wrong with that?

  4. Hopefully get it amorrow. Demo was a bit slow and pish tbh. Loved the sea battles but i really don't like using bloody guns. I never used cannons and stuff on medieval because i hated them.

  5. ITS FUCKING PISH!

And thats coming from a fanboy of the series.

Shogun, med 1, rome, alexander, barbarian invasion and med 2 were all shit hot.

This Empire TW is pish, demo is pish, takes 10 minutes to load, its bugged to fuck. And did i say it was pish?

Id say avoid or torrent it.

So you never played the demo of Medieval 2 ?

That was crap as well with long loading times, that's why it's a DEMO.

Demo = demonstration of the final product.

    since when?

Anyways out today. Better pop down to the shops.

  6. Totally disagree to be honest !

I thought he offered us nothing in possession, didn't look aggressive enough for my liking off the ball for a defensive midfielder and looked very unsure of what positions he should be taking up on the park.

Not a diddy, but not particularly impressed today either. A harmless but un-influential performance would be how I'd sum him up.

lol what game were you watching?

  7. Games that cost real money for in-game stuff are far too dangerous for the finances :P

Nah it doesn't. People can buy game time cards and trade them for in game cash if they want but i've never done that in my like.

Yeah papa it can become addictive but it never gets in the way of my football, social life and work no game should :). The game is really amazing for true player vs player action.

  8. That's what so amazing about EVE Online.

    The story is basically this:

Band of brothers was one of the, if not the, biggest alliances in the game.

They got infiltrated by a spy wh o stole the money they need to keep the alliance running (Weekly you get a bill which you have to pay, otherwise your alliance disbands). This caused BoB to disband, also causing all their ships (Who were in secure docks) to be open to attack, since those docks ceased working.

Cue mass attacks on their fleets, plundering galore,...

Nah not true mate. I play this game alot :)

Basically this is fucking huge in the world of eve. Bob (band of brothers) controlled a large amount of very rich space that really was a fortress.

Eve online is a game that is based on solar systems with jump gates in each one to move from each solar system to the other. Players control the lawless space (anything goes) and the game developers control the safe space for people who don't want to be blown up in their internet space ships.

Anyways You capture this lawless space (called 0.0) by dropping towers around the orbit of a moon in 0.0 systems. After a few weeks your sovereignty will go up in these systems. Once you have a high sov you can jam the enemy from coming in with capital ships (huge ships designed for the job cost like 120GBP in real life money) to hit towers and destroy them. Towers need to be destroyed to drop the enemy's hold on the system.

BoB had lots of system and had all of them blocked and well defended. a few weeks back a director of one of the holding corps of the alliance decided to fuck with them. He hated the way BoB the alliance was going and thought the leadership was bigged headed. So he stole everything he could 50+billion isk (isk = pounds to us) disbanded the alliance and left his corp.

This ment all sovereignty dropped and the alliance was left vulnerable. After that most of the eve alliances hostile to bob came in and took everything they owned.

Is that not what I said, in a nutshell ?

The guy who did it WAS sort of a spy, not just a director.

He was a spy for bob in goonswarm. He wasn't spy for goonswarm in bob. He started to enjoy himself in goons and then they decided to do all that shit. Tis a complicated game.
