Would appreciate if staff could keep this as a seperate thread and not merge it with our other one. Cheers.

On September 27th 2011, The Union Bears and The Blue Order held a protest at Ibrox Stadium in the opening ten minutes of the match against against Kilmarnock. The protest consisted of anti-SNP chanting and the unfurling of 3 banners namely;
"Undefinable Laws Against Supporters"
"SNP Weak On Criminals - Tough on Fans"
"Football Fans Not Criminals"
The protest was not challenged by the police and passed peacefully, with other sections of the Rangers support showing unity with the message of the protest.
For clarity, there are several reasons why we feel we must make a stand upon this issue. We are protesting against the implementation on the 'Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Bill' as proposed by the current SNP government. This bill discriminates against football fans, singling out a demographic of the population for specific laws. The implementation of the bill means that almost any football supporter, whether you be vocal in support of your team or not, could be subject to arrest, without significant police evidence of any actual offence caused.
The criminalisation of football supporters threatens the game which we all love. Supporters attending a football match will now be met with fear of arrest, losing your job and being named in newspapers despite having not had your court case heard.
The Union Bears and The Blue Order would like to make it clear we are against Sectarianism and Racism in all forms. We feel current legislation covers offences of these matters and further legislation is not necessary nor required. We feel this action is being used for political gain, and being supported by police officers in order to preserve their level of responsibility and therefore preserve their level of funding in what is economically challenging times.
We have all seen that our supporters are subject to unnecessary harassment from police officers and we have and will continue to work with the Rangers Supporters working group on resolving these matters.
In a completely separate incident tonight, around 100 supporters in the BF1 section walked out in protest at the heavy handed stewarding and policing which took place within the section at the match. The groups have issued a complaint to the police and the club and this will be dealt with in due course. We would like to thank the rest of the Rangers support for the support shown towards the group regarding this matter.
Astonishingly the whole reason for the stewards getting involved was due to a young supporter in the section having a water bottle in the ground. One which he had cleared with another steward before entering and was told it wouldn't be a problem.
Among the incidents was also the situation where mounted Police outside the stadium charged at young supporters including one who was visibly walking with the aid of crutches. He was told by the mounted officers to run.
We will be taking further protest action in forthcoming matches, and would urge you all to stand with us as we fight the injustice against the supporters of Rangers Football Club. We will issue another statement prior to the game on Saturday, which will detail how we wish to have your support.
Supporting Your Team Is not a Crime.

Bitc I take it what you suspected is completley untrue then?
Yes mate. We have several eyewitness accounts from members in the area as to what the real reason was.
-
Guys, we'll have a statement within the next hour or so. We wanted to get all the facts correct before giving our version of events, i'm sure you understand that.
But i can categorically state right now that NO Rangers fan deserved to be arrested or removed last night, absolutely not!

The Sun have been running with much more nonsense than the Herald these past few weeks.

TWB, get yerself tae fuck!

I'd rather Ibrox had 5'000 fans willing to sing and support the team for 90 minutes than 50'000 who sit in silence.
-
It happened, yes. He was firstly pulled up for it covering advertising but there was none so they then said that "No Surrender" was offensive and if he didn't remove it then he'd be chucked out. Couple of minutes later he was and had to wait 30 minutes for his flag to be returned.
More of the usual from the £5 an hour mob.
-
Yes, if you've handed the form in and replied to our email then you're in the section.
-
If I ticked away games on my ST would TBO get moved together for away games ?
No. We did enquire about this, but due to the system the ticket office use they cannot accomodate any more than 5 people in the one friendship.
Games at Hampden are different of course, and also SPL teams who sell directly to the fans. Good chance of getting everyone together for these games.
-
500+?
..........
Yes, that would be how much the section holds. Glad it amuses you.
-
If you don't currently have a season ticket then you don't mate, no. The club will contact you in due course.
-
I contacted you guys 2 days ago and have had no email back
Anyway lets see if ive got this right. I ordered my ST online it said BF1 so i will be moved to BF2 however i have also requested through your site to sit in BF1 so will i then be moved back?
Also is that tbo who have a 500 strong singing section this season?
Contacted us about moving to BF1? Ithought you'd already done that and been given a seat?
@ the other guy, yes include the fact you done it another way and what seat you were given.
-
Just wondering...Bought my ST and i'm in BF1..Does this mean I'll get shifted, or will I be left in that seat?
If you done it using the call centre you'll be shifted, there was a mix-up which led to folk being sold tickets for the section when they shouldn't have been. They'll be moved to BF2.
You should have done it through us as requested. If you contact us through the TBO site we may still be able to get you in.
-
We've now just about filled the section of 500+ seats, Looking very positive for next season,
-
Have you sent the form in? If so then there's no problem, you're in.
-
There's no real need for the groups to ditch their banners and join under a new one. We'll be acting like one big group within the section anyway so keeping our own identities is fine.
We're just happy that such a big change has been allowed by the club. It might not be front and centre in the Copland but it's a section that both groups can finally call their own and grow within.
-
I'm tall enough so if he planned on having a nice wee seat...his plans are fucking ruined
But anyways...Seeing as we're in BF1 does that mean we can associated with TBO/UB or will we need to fill forms out and you guys will make sure we're all together when the Upside Down lot come over.
As i said mate, everyone in the section will be moved the corner for those games.
-
Im the row behind you
And seat 20 in that row lucky you
Btw lads see now that am in BF1 i suppose we dont need to apply or does that mean if i do i get moved with you guys for the OF game?
We'll all be in the corner next to the taigs mate.
-
There's not many spaces left to fill now troops, so if you're still dithering over what to do, or know someone that is, then get those details sent quick!
-
To those who have just emailed their details and those from BF4/5 who have done the same, please be patient with regards the forms being sent.
We're dealing with our own members and those already on our waiting list first and have sent most forms out to them. Don't be concerned if the email doesn't come until early next week, you will get it in enough time to print it, fill it out and send it back to Rangers.
-
Another thing, when getting a switch from one seat to another, if you're moving from a seat where the tickets are more expensive do you get this money back or not?
Yes, Rangers will refund you the difference.
-
I would agree with this!
Also lads im waiting to hear back from Rangers about my ST so will there be any chance i can get into this section? Or will it be full?
There are still seats left mate, but be quick.

None at all mate, just a complete over-reaction. Riot vans were also present.
