If he isn't going to play I'd rather see him go out on loan and play at a decent level.
-
I think Walsh showed more last night than Templeton did in the last couple of games. Mckay was excellent as well.
Will be brilliant to see these two players develop over the season.
-
What about the players who were pish like Walsh?
Thought Walsh offered far more than Templeton has over the past couple of games.
-
I thought he was excellent tonight.

As I said in the OP I'm nitpicking it was another great performance so certainly don't wanna get too hung up about it. Always good to get that scare while winning while dropping points.
-
Some fantastic attacking play but losing the goal was poor and we got away with it for the penalty.
Still that's me nitpicking because as I said some of the attacking moves were outstanding. Was 3-1 going on 6 or 7.
And it's always good to get that wake up call while we are winning rather than dropping silly points.

He's been told by Warbs to play that way. Sooner folk realise that the better. Tried to explain that at half time to the 2 goons behind me but they weren't having it.

It's like night and day. I can't believe the transformation in the team from that omnishambles last season. I know its only 2 games in but to me Warburton hasn't made a bad signing which is unbelievable.
Tavernier has been the one grabbing the headlines but I've been impressed with every one of the new players. Other players who were there last season such as Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller have been rejuvenated.
The slick passing and movement has been a joy to watch and now, finally, I am looking forward to going to watch Rangers again. The last few seasons I was doing it out of habit more than anything else.
-
Hopefully the back 4 and the keeper steer clear of injuries and suspensions for the next few months. The more games they play together the better.
-
We haven't had a right back who has performed consistently since Gary Stevens. Hope Tavernier steers clear of injury and keeps performing to the same high standard.
-
Foderingham - 7
Tavernier - 9
Kiernan - 7
Wilson - 7
Wallace - 8
Law - 6
Shiels - 6
Halliday - 9 (Man of the Match for me)
Templeton - 5
McKay - 6
Waghorn - 8
Miller - 7
Holt - 7
Clark - 6

Friday night can't come quick enough. Hopefully a full house for this one. Can see the same team starting.
-
It was 3 going on 33.
-
Can't believe we managed to get Tavernier, Waghorn and Kiernan for 600k from Wigan. Can't believe the transformation of our team in a few short weeks.
-
If we keep playing like that a team is going to get a real doing at Ibrox this season. Absolutely outstanding. We are finally playing football from the 21st century.
-
Might be in the minority but I still prefer Davie Robertson to Arthur Numan.
-
Yeah the players we have signed this season are actually decent.I think the comment recently from Davie Weir regarding potential players was telling; this is roughly what he said: " Mark and I work in a slightly different market and have different contacts than what Rangers are generally used to."
I think the players we have signed up to date proves that point.
-
More performances like today and the crowds will be flocking back.
-
He will be a great asset coming off the bench and around Auchenhowie. You can say what you like about Miller but he's an excellent professional and his experience could be invaluable to our younger players.

Chris McLaughlin reporting trouble and "sectarian arrests." Bet the wee mutant couldn't wait to wire that one in.

Trying to burst the bubble. [/quote
Did Irvine feed him that or did he get that story all on his own?
-
The back four in general looked a bit shaky but that's perhaps to be expected considering they haven't played together before. They need time to develop an understanding. Thought Foderingham should have done better with the first goal right enough.
-
Scored a goal we would all love to. On yirsel Andy.
-
Poor in the first half but much better in the second. Hopefully he will develop a good understanding with Tavernier.
-
Any win will do - anything else and pressure is immediately on.
Yeah the pressure is on Warburton if we don't beat Hibs in the Petrofac Cup but Ally got chance after chance to get it right.

Warburton will mould him into an outstanding midfielder.
