The poor standard of opposition last night allowed us to do that. Up against full time teams that just doesnt happen normally.

Last season we also struggled against part time teams when we weren't in full flow , problem is if we start with JB and NK then the pace of our play won't be high intensity for a whole game

  2. Apart from the obvious during AMs spell in charge was we were winning comfortably in a midweek game against Livingston took off our best player on the night we ended up drawing and then did the same against ICT in the very next game,  winning comfortably  best player on the day taken off and ended up drawing again

Surprised Bates is making the squad, thought he was signed for the youth team, which I assume he still is, but interesting nonetheless.

I really want this midfield 3 to do well. Could be fantastic if it works. Need to show they aren't too slow/one dimensional.

But delighted to see Dodoo and Rossiter get starts.

Probs coz if Kiernan or Hill gets injured in the game there is nobody else to play CH

Not necessarily a bad thing, it's good the young lad is getting noticed and I doubt we'd let him go easily.

At the very least let him left 55 because he stayed with us through the lower leagues and although he was shipped out on loan, it would've been easy for him to go sign with another club. And he may feel indebted to Mr Warburton for having such faith in him and bringing out the best in the young lad.

But people taking noticed isn't a bad thing, it shows he'd doing things right.

We've been deprived of genuine talent this last 4 years that I for one want to be greedy and want him to stay for many years, unfortunately the money in the EPL will mean he goes there sooner rather than later if he keeps on improving.

Having said that I believe Forrester is more than capable of filling Barries shoes.

So as predicted Kelly, Walsh, Hardie and Thompson all to go out on loan, no idea how some expected any of them to feature this season. No squad numbers for Crawford and Murdoch shows both will be out the door. Good decisions from the manager.

Was Murdoch not handed a long contract after SM started playing him regularly ?
