  1. Although Murray retained, on the face of it, a controlling interest in MIH,

That infers something different if not the opposite.

You'll need to take that up with Boss as I can't recall what his logic for the phrase was. The bottom line, as far as I'm concerned, is that Murray has a controlling interest.

  2. What can the experts tell us about an alleged link between Uberior Equity Ltd and MIH, story doing the rounds is that the bank and murray have shafted the club, Uberior a holding company owned by LBG allegedly own MIH and forced Murray to sell us for £1, all tied to our debt and more tellingly the possible tax liability.

Maybe boss can get his forensic abacus on to this.

It's hardly news that LBG own a sizable percentage of MIH (although less than 50%), and LBG wanted their cash back from the club quickly and were also unwilling to put any funding towards a potential tax pay-out, as was Murray himself, and this therefore affected the value of the club, resulting in it being sold for £1.

How much pressure was put on Murray by LBG is speculation, but there would certainly have been some, even indirectly.

  3. Anyway, according to Daryll and Mark this evening, they confirmed there are some rumours coming from Ibrox that the tax case may indeed be settled prior to it reconvening in the new year.

The £49m figure was confirmed as highest fugue available ie worst case scenario but any settlement would be much smaller, somewhere in the £10-15m bracket, which Craig Whyte has previously confirmed, during the take-over process, as a managable figure.

It was confirmed that Whyte is indeed in talks with HMRC but in London, rather than locally, the belief is this is what has brought about a change in tact by them.

It stinks of being an Operation Tango in reverse.

  4. Quite interesting stuff...but it ain't whyte that is handling these negotiations...more darylllll fantasy

    2 questions on that:

    1. Do we know that is what is happening for sure? Has it been verified, or has itonly come from some Celtic website?

    2. Is it legally enforcable? HMRC claim the club owe them money and the club are legally prevented from talking to them about it?

  5. There ya' go Bluedell - our first order of the 'exclusive' Rangers wood-edged mouse and mouse pad sets.

All we need do is set up a Limited Company (Let's call it Bluedell Bacon & Co), get an offshore bank account and wait for the money to roll in.

I've already got my eye on a small 2-bedroom apartment in Lake Garda, lake views, balcony - the whole shooting match. :D

This time next year Rodney, we'll be billionaires. ;)

I'm already being called Delboy for selling these desksets , so I guess that makes you Rodney! :D

  6. Your very own piece of Ibrox history or would make an ideal Christmas present.

I am again selling Rangers desk sets that are made out of the wooden seats that were installed in the Main Stand at Ibrox in 1929 and were removed in 1990. They were originally sold in the early 90s following the modernisation of the main stand.

It comes complete with twin pens and golf on aluminium plaque with the Rangers crest and has an upright formed from the back of an individual seat with the original ivory coloured number disc with solid brass pins.

They cost £65 (plus p&p). They can be posted out or I could meet you at Ibrox before the Inverness game.

If anyone wishes to order one or would like further information, please PM me.

  7. Could you follow a new company/club/business? I am not sure i could, it wouldnt be the Rangers we grew up loving. I think that would be one of the worst scenario possible. I dont want to change names, i dont want to move grounds, anything like that, i want Rangers Football Club, our club to be what it is and always has been, our club, the club.

I guess the taigs in this country and tarriers involved in this case will do all they can to make it easier for them to dominate Scottish football.

The club was formed in 1872. The company was formed in 1899.

Does the club exist without the company? Definitely. Should we discount anything that happened before 1899? No.

The company is irrelevant. It's just a format for the club to operate. We could cease to be a company tomorrow if we wanted. It's just easier to be one. Moving the club to another company doesn't change anything. We are still Rangers.

  8. Just because people don't understand the point that the OP is making then he's a tim?

I think that the point that he's making is that Whyte is so short of cash that he's "mortgaged" off the future cashflows from catering to get an upfront payment now, presumably because the club has no cash.

I'll leave you all to discuss the accuracy of the claim. :sherlock:

  9. I don't need to contact anyone, unless tickets are only being sold to official fan groups.

Is it now the case that Rangers are responsible for any non Malmo supporters? there's plenty of people who will attend a game just to enjoy the football.

I don't know if Malmo have any rivals, but lets suppose they do and they buy tickets for the game and support Rangers just for the Hell of it,are they Rangers supporters? are Rangers responsible?

They cannot stop private individuals from legally attending public events

This is UEFA we're talking about. You should know by now that a logical argument is irrelevant.

Rangers WILL be held responsible for any acts by Scots no matter where they live or what team they support.

If a Scot gets attacked in a bar and hurts someone by just defending themselves, even if it's not their fault, Rangers risk a ban.

just by travelling, you are putting the club at risk.

  10. I can assure you im not trying to be hard, or act hard, it was the only way i can prove im a rangers man, ive been accused of being a tim by this cunt all day. I wasnt looking for trouble, mearly wantin to prove i am what i say i am. The offers open to anyone on here that accuses me of being a tim, i'll walk up to them before or after any match, introduce myself, and shake thier hand. I have no problem doing that.

Mate, you don't need to prove yourself to anyone. Does their opinion of you mean that much? If not, then accept that you made a mistake with your earlier post (we've all done it) and move on. :)

  11. Didnt reply though eh.

Your a shitebag, i offered to prove who and what i am and you bottled it, your poor attempts at jokin it away are really really sad.

Im glad ive cleared up that im a rangers man through and through, and that im not always right. Youve still to prove that your not all talk, but youve done a great job of making yourself look like a complete dick, and a bottle merchant.

Tell your burd i said cheers

    :D

    Keyboard hardmen. Gotta love em.

  12. Bluedell, its all about what each individual reads into the circular.

What has it really told us.

Has he told us whether its his money etc

WWTC, what do you mean reeks....

FTR i am very happy for this guy to take over but we all wanted transparency from SDM and the old board, is this the transparency we wanted....i think not.

Is it that hard for someone with nothing to hide to speak in laymens terms, for instance.

I have bought the club with my own money and will sit the debt to the side until such times that i am satisfied we have won the tax case. If we dont win the case i will then add this debt to the tax debt and liquidate the company. If we do win the tax case i will gladly accept that this is the price i paid for the club and the debt will be transferred to my personal account.

I will not use the security of X amount of season tickets to raise capital to fund my plans for Rangers but will, as has been reported fund $5m, more if required, each season from my own account.Any monies made from the sale of players will go to the manager and other income will be used to pay wages and upgrade the stadium.

And before you fire back with, in the interest of privacy yada yada and this doesnt need to be in the public domain, fine but it wont help get the average bear on side if they cant see the big picture in their terms.

The bears want straight talking simple answers and statements so that they can understand what is happening. For too long the word masters have played games with the ordinary punter, if people dont understand it they dont trust it.

He has told us a fair bit which you seem to be ignoring. He has been quite clear about the debt, so I'm not sure what the issue is there.

It's difficult for him to state the things that he won't do as, firstly it's an infinite list, and secondly why restrict himself when he doesn't have to? He doesn't know what the future will bring.

If he had come out and said it was his own money then would that have satisfied you? It wouldn't prove that he doesn't have any personal borrowings.

It's a legal document and therefore it can't be put in layman's terms, and was also there to detail the terms of the deal and nothing more than that.

Yes, there are still many unanswered questions but I got more information from the circular than I expected and given the fact that the tax case is hanging over us, I don't believe that now is the correct time for listing all the what ifs. If we can get it sorted then hopefully there will be more clarity about future plans and funding.
