  1. must be a few boys in the dressing room that are only contracted till the end of the season that know they will be next out the door as they have no chance of staying on, surely the likes of Hegarty and Perry are soon to be on that list as well

I think Perry and Hegarty are both contracted till 2015, but there's certainly quite a few whose contracts end in the summer, so they might be wondering tonight if they'll be next. Cribari, Simonsen, Hutton, Wiktorski and Alan Smith are all in the last few months of their contracts, so it won't be a huge surprise if one or two of them are released. Can't see Cribari leaving without a pay-off though and that wouldn't be too cheap.

  2. Aye coz no cunt is allowed holidays! Fuck off.

I didn't say people aren't allowed holidays, but when Rangers hire a new CEO on big money I don't expect one of the first things done by him to be fucking off on holiday for two weeks, especially when there was important work to be done here. I fully understand that his holiday was probably already booked, but I think he should have cancelled it and postponed it till June or July. That would have shown real dedication and commitment to his new job at our Club.

  3. Seems to me as though there was important work to be done by our new CEO at the Club since the AGM and even over Xmas, but instead of getting stuck in and starting to sort out the mess he's been left with by Green & co, he buggered off on holiday for 2 weeks.

So, it's now past the midway point in January and here he is just starting to put out feelers to the staff at the club to see who'd be willing to take wage cuts. Doesn't exactly look as if he's in a hurry to sort out the Club's finances given that the AGM was a month ago and he's just now starting to tiptoe around the issue of making the necessary cuts.

At this rate we'll be struggling to pay bills before he's actually done anything, so I'll hold off on the back-slapping for the moment.

  4. I think Wallace comes across as being quite evasive and wishy-washy and that's very disappointing when what we need is an honest CEO with balls of steel and an iron fist.

If he had first gotten directors, executives, management and professionals employed at the club to take pay cuts, then he could have approached the players from a position of strength and told them he was taking swift and decisive action to cut the Club's costs from top to bottom.

Obviously we don't know exactly who all has been approached about taking pay cuts, but it sounds like maybe Wallace was hoping that the players would take one on the chin for the good of the Club and that would give him his starting point to then approach other Club staff saying the players were leading by example and could everyone else follow suit.

The IPO cash is long gone and the Club's costs aren't sustainable, so at the end of the day, job cuts and pay cuts throughout the Club are long, long overdue. Wallace really needs to get the ball rolling quickly and stop beating about the bush.

  5. Although it will be small bill it's the same folk moaning about where the money is going that are getting us these fines with daft shit like this

It might not be such a small repair bill if the pitch cost almost half a million and the company need to come over from Holland to fix it.
