  1. Hi Guy

Been receiving some texts about negativity on RM regarding the Red and Black scarves so I thought I would register for RM and give you an insight into how this started and what is currently happening.

Lots of people were talking about raising money and how they could help Rangers in our current plight various ideas were being banded about but nobody seemed to be doing anything. I was looking into the idea of copying the Man U Glazer scarf, i know it is copying them but hey we needed an idea and it seemed to me to be something we could adopt. I went on FF and saw that Stu had started a poll to see what people thought. I replied to him and we started discussing the possibility of this taking off, Stu was getting good backing and instead if just talking about it like I had done he actually got off his behind and started the ball rolling. Stu contacted the RST as we realised that we would need some sort of official backing as we new what people would be like if we just started something like this people would think it was some sort of scam, I know I would. Also the RST had the technical knowledge to get this up and running quickly. That's the background and below are some of the facts you want to know.

The scarves are costing £2.15+VAT but we hope to reduce that as we increase our orders

All profits will go to buying tickets, we will take nothing off the £10 other than what paypal charge

Red and Black ? had to be different from Red,White and Blue but with a link to Rangers - SOCKS

Me and Stu are just ordinary supporters trying to help the club we love and are not in this for anything else.

I am going out to watch my son playing football now but Stu is trying to get on and will answer any other question or I will get back to you later

It's All about the Rangers lads.

Well done. Don't worry about the usual doubters who do nothing.

  2. Hmmmm. Did he intend to use Rangers money to prop this up ?

Is this was prompted his desperation.

The stockbroking firm where Rangers owner Craig Whyte was company secretary has been forced into administration.

Pritchards, based in Bournemouth, was banned from further trading five days before Rangers went into administration.

That came after the Financial Services Authority (FSA) found it had been using client funds to pay its own costs and trade on its own account.

Mr Whyte resigned as Pritchards' company secretary after that ruling.

He said he wanted to focus on his role at Ibrox.

As well as his personal involvement, Mr Whyte's firm, Liberty Capital, was a major shareholder in Pritchards.

The FSA has used new powers that require the administrator to prioritise the return of investors' funds.

Whyte does not do propping up, he only takes out.

  3. So the less well off fans put in money to keep the club afloat until such times as a buy out takes place by the big hitters, is this correct? At the end of the day the small guys get what for it? Any shares or say in the running of our club? We keep it going and then the guys with money take over? Why can't the groups who are interested in the club put up the money to keep it ticking over for a few weeks/months, there could be an agreement to pay back to the losers after the sale.

We the many small guys in this should be giving this a lot of thought before blindly giving money. I may have this all wrong, tin hat on.

  4. No it's actual Rangers fans who want to make sure that whoever the next owner is has the clout to run the club the way we all want it to be run.

I would also like to see a prospectus from the Blue Knights and any other potential bidder for the club.

Cannot disagree with that. But if you look at the first couple of pages on this thread you will see that some have dismissed this out of hand without knowing all the facts.

  6. I think that's a bit harsh. Just because some don't want Paul Murray or Dingwall anywhere near our boardroom doesn't mean they want the club to go under.........quite the opposite I suggest. I think all Bears want Rangers to come out of this with a strong, dependable and honest leadership who have Rangers best interests at the forefront of their plans. Many don't see either PM, Dingwall or Ticketus as fitting the bill.

First of all I don't know what all this anti Dingwall talk is about. I was critising those who seem to be against what the three largest supporters groups are doing but don't come up with a plan of their own. Its very easy to sit on the sidelines and snipe. As I said I would need to see the detail of the B.K. plan before investing, but I am willing to read it and then decide not dismiss it out of hand now.

  7. All our problems hail from 1 man. Not Craig White, but the man who passed on the club to him.

David Murray raped us from top to bottom. The more i think about it the angrier i get.

I just hope the next owner takes better care of our great club.

It's amazing how lightly he has got off with this.

  8. Seems strange that after the Administrators terrifying statement on Tuesday that every paper carried an exclusive or a top story that spelt the end for us e.g Need a buyer by Friday etc etc.

Then all of a sudden after the BBC phone interview with the Administrator last night (which was positive) i cant help but think papers have seen this and used to bring us more exclusives but this time on the positive side. If that bbc interview had not happened im 90% sure that these good stories we are reading this morning would not exist.

    Anyone think this aswell?

Basically the papers know nothing whether it be Sky or BBC. They are all guessing and creating every possible scenario so whatever happens they will tell us they told us so...

e.g today Sky Sources: Kennedy met on Wednesday. Maybe he did but aint exactly something new. He was quoted in the paper saying he would hold early talks. Funny that they cant find the names of the other parties.

    Jamie

You have answered your own question. These so called journalists know as much as you or I in some cases less.

  9. Time to take to the streets!

I urge as many of you as possible to be there.

Time to get Whyte OUT of our club and to show the world what we're all about and what Rangers mean to us all.

SaveRangers.com or whatever they call themselves have let us all down. They're not interested in saving Rangers 1872, they want us to back some newco instaed of fighting for the only Rangers that really matter.

Mark Dingwall (Suck from FF) has been telling us to keep our 'powder dry'......... Dry for what? We're dying and we've got to act NOW!!!

We have these silly pledges when we should have had an emergency fighting fund with £20M sitting in it ready to rescue the club.

I can hardly type here for anger and frustration but let's not sit back and do nothing as our club die!

I beg you all to get there and let your voices be heard!

WHYTE OUT! NO NEWCO! NO LIQUIDATION! NO SURRENDER!

See you all at the Players entrance at 7.30

    DON'T LET RANGERS DIE!

This post shows all that is wrong with the Rangers support. A call to protest at Ibrox is fine if that's what people want to do. But there is no need for the snide remarks at other bears and websites. We will never attain unity. If this was the tims they would all be singing from the same hymn sheet, not us we are too bothered sniping at fellow bears while our club vanishes.

  10. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I have the feeling that the admins' date change to Friday has killed this stone dead, as well as Save Rangers.

The best way forward would be to contact any known interested parties (P.Murray etc) and see what they would offer if these campaigns were to be rolled into theirs.

It really is sad that we aren't presenting a united front here. More like the Peoples front of Judea and the Judan peoples front. doh

    Correct 100%

  11. Can anyone tell me how many Offical Members, each of these organisations have.......not based on save rangers, talking independant of that

The Trust 2000-3000. Supporters Association whatever the total number each of the official club has as members. The Assembly was started by SDM to kill the Trust at birth, but has become more independent over the years. The Assembly has just about all supporters as members although most don't know it, ST holders, shareholders, supporters clubs etc. The Trust and Supporters Association are also members.

  12. I understand with what you are saying, and agree with you to a certaing extent. BUT we are not looking to divide, we wont to see if all rangers fans would be on board for this. If not then so be it. No harm in us putting a propsal forward for all to see, then take it from their.

But why not talk to the Assembly, Supports Association and Trust. Surely that would get the message over to more fans.

Have you spoken to any of the above?

  13. First of all let me say I am aware of the bad feeling between certain so called leading Bears. That said I just don't get this proposed RangersUnite website which is looking for fans ownership of the club. The three largest groups have come together to raise money and looking for fans involvement in the club www.saverangers.com Why the hell start another? OUR club is going down the tubes and we can't get together? So much for the Unite part.

If the call is made the last thing we need is two campaigns looking for the fans money and support. This looks like a splitting move to me.

  14. No, we are not the RST. We are not even a group, well not yet anyway. The plan is to have fans owning the club, as equals. Everyone having their say.

Thanks for the reply. Another wee question, would it not make more sense to join up with RSA/RST/RSA in a united campaign? Seems we are diluting our resources.

  15. In light of the Post Rangersforme made before the weekend regarding Fans Ownership, We have been working very very hard to get everything set up so it is ready to as quickly as possible. The website is ready to launch very soon, and this will house all the information you will need.

If I could ask that anyone with twitter or facebook, starts following and retweeting galore so that we can build up a strong base ready for the launch of the Website and our proposals for investment into the club.

Please follow @rangersunite and RT to all your fellow bears. We are using the hash tags #preparetounite and #fansownership

Thanks for the support in Advance guys,

    :uk:

Excuse my ignorance. but who are you? Is this the same group behind www.saverangers.com i.e. RSA/RST/RSupportersA ??

  16. How is it utterly selfish? These guys signed these contracts in good faith. It's not their fault the club was run by morons.

It's not our fault either but we will contribute cash to save the club. I don't expect any of the foreign players to volunteer to help, but what about the so called Rangers fans in the team?
