  1. Mendes, Edu and Davis in the middle, with Edu sitting back protectin the back four.

Boyd through the middle, flanked by Aaron on the right and Fleck on the left.

    Magic (tu)

Would love to see this against Murderwell, Fleck though still needs time so I think we need to use him sparingly and avoid relying on him too much. I tried not to get caught up in the initial hysteria surrounding him cos it usually hinders the young uns (I can call him a young un cos hes two years junior to me ) The recent injury problems seems to have forced Walter to do something he doesn't like doing...setting out an attacking side.

  2. so they hate ni too cause they booed it when they played them.

They certainly didn't show any love for Northern Ireland in the friendly, annoying because a few Northern Irish guys I knew spoke before the game to me about how much they were looking forward to the game and having a party with the Scottish supporters "Hands across the water" and all that and they were then greeted with boo's and chants of "are you England in disguise?"

On the topic of the top i'll definately consider buying it after vowing not to buy another Scotland top until Burley's departure. I wonder what the Sceptic fans will make of this. "A blantant show of support for Imperialism" or some bollocks no doubt.

  3. In my opinion there is a difference between being a member of the Tartan Army and being a Scotland fan. The Tartan Army are the most vocal and largest section of the Scotland support - made up of mainly Tcheuchters, Rugby supporters, Lundys and Scottish Nationalists. They all have one thing in common which is a blind romantic vision of Scottish Nationalism therefore they have an intense hatred for Rangers as our support has largely been one of Unionists. Take for instance the amount of times a Rangers player playing against Scotland has been picked out for abuse, also show the disgraceful way they acted towards Northern Ireland - a support who love coming to Scotland and have many historical links to our country. It would be a love in if the Republic came to town. I don't think we need to even mention the SFA's campaign against Rangers in the past. I am a Scotland supporter, along with many Rangers/Scotland supporter I know I occasionally attend games but you wont see me in a kilt or a "See you Jimmy Hat" and I always leave Hampden feeling unwelcome and out of place.

    Fuck em I say.

  4. First post on this site! I'd drop Miller and bring Novo in to play alongside Boydy, I voted to drop Barry aswell but really he doesn't make a difference and replacing him with Edu isn't going to make a drastic change although Thomson would get ahead of him anyday in my book if he wasn't injured. Broadfoot is a better defender than Whittaker but Whittaker is better at going forward but i'd stick with Broadfoot cos we're losing silly goals too often. McGregor should never have been even suggested to be dropped as he has done little long unless you want to follow the Jacobites way and hound him for going out on the lash. Lineup i'd like to see for sunday:

    McGregor

    Broadfoot Bougy Weir Papac

    Davis Ferguson Mendes Aaron

    Boyd Novo

You'd drop Whittaker to counteract Falkirk's attacking threat?

This is a sad day :(

Yes but with a team like we have now teams like Falkirk have a go at us and we have been loosing stupid goals due to slack defending. It also saddens me after seeing Hutton's preformance for Scotland, wish we held on to him and wouldn't need to consider playing players like Broadfoot and Whittaker.
