I agree with every word Mark says here.....and trust me, that is rare. Novo is frustrated, he is never sharp cause he doesnt get a string of 4 or 5 games to get it back, one of the few players with the heart, pride and understanding to do it for us.
I'd go Novo and Boyd every week to be honest, after 3 or 4 weeks, watch the goals fly in !!! Trust me on that.
100% agree with that. Would be my ideal line up. I know Novo is older now but the last few seasons hes played regulalry upfront for Dundee and with us with Prso he scored 20+ goals i think.

Watching last night made me realise that are players are not only behind europes top teams in quality but also in physical ability. Now i wouldn't say fitness is lacking as we can be a hard working team but i mean sheer strength and pace.
We get away with it in the SPL as the other teams are poorer than us so we don't really notice but in the big games we seem so off the pace. We don't really have any fast players in our team anymore. Novo and Bougherra maybe but even against CL defenders they don't look that fast.
Portsmouth won an FA Cup and got to the UEFA Cup on a transfer policy of..."Big black bulldozers" only. They had Kranjcar as their flair player and Defoe and Crouch upfront but if you look at the rest of the team Redknapp played they were all machines. Glen Johson, Sylvin Dystin, Papa Boupa Diop, Sulley Muntari, Noel Paramot, John Utaka etc.
Redknapp realised that by having atheletes all over the pitch would make a huge difference to the team. Kevin Thomson is known as our tenacious tackling midfielder but last night he couldn't get near the ball.
We are cash strapped right now but if the chance to have a Rangers team like an Afican Nations Select who can run the 100m in 11 seconds and bench press a cow then i don't think it would be a bad step at all.
Would be interested to see what you make of this? Just throwing the idea out there that we seem to be lacking strength and pace in key areas.

Last time we played them was on my birthday and i walked from my flat into town...right past pittodrie and i was going up streem in my Rangers top as all the fans were going down.
Probably the stupidest thing i have ever done but no-one did anything! (1 even called me a f*****). Im absolutely dying for us to put a few past them this weekend and come away with the win. Especially after the 0-0 at Ibrox.

01/09/2009 Rothen is set to join Rangers, on a one year permanant deal. The deal will be sealead on the last day of the transfer window, after Rothen snubbed a 3-year-deal with troubled Bundesliga club Schalke 04. Rothen has been quoted "From the moment I heard that Rangers is interested, I knew I wouldnt sign for the German diddy club". He also mentioned that Glasgow is the nicer city anyway and Scotland overall a better place to live.

Not sure if anyone saw Dermot Gallacher interview earlier on but he is spot on...
Eduardo cheated - didn't get caught and gets a 2 game ban most likely.
Lafferty cheated - didn't get caught and gets a 2 game ban.
McGeady - gets caught and gets a yellow card (albeit it was a 2nd yellow which will lead to a 1 game ban anyway) but surely he should be pulled up and given a 2 game ban. Just because he got caught means he is getting off lighter.

I've got Arsenal on as part of an accumulator for tonight but for some reason i'm not to confident. Fabregas is out and Wenger said some players might be fatigued. Could be a 0-0! Lets hope not.

Anyone who has put McGregor or Alexander ahead of Gordon in their team is off their rocker imo. He is by far the best keeper we got and i think he could probably be the first choice keeper if a proper British Olympic team was formed.

I would be really surprised if it has ever happened. EVER! Hitting a golf ball over 500 yards is physically impossible. Unless u were to land it on a cart path, and it bounced on another cart path etc. but in any proper golf course that isn't going to happen.

We ALL hope so but its very unlikely. Plus i don't think Walter would buy a centre half just because we need one, he likes to take his time and scout one so unless he has 1 already eyed up then i doubt it.

Great campaign. I remember that we needed Porto and Artmedia to draw and they did 0-0 but the next day when i was watching highlights the pitch was very very muddy and Porto had a shot that was going in but stopped on the line due to the mud which put us through

I'm not 100% sure if this is right as i am part of a supporters club and do it that way but you put yourself on the away allocation with Rangers and they offer you away tickets. I think it might be done on a points system tho, so you'd have to go to some shitty games like Hamilton etc before you get offered Celtic and Aberdeen away.
Again, this might only apply to Season ticket holders if you can apply for away application...not sure if you can do it if your not a ST holder but the other guys will be able to tell you more.

He missed another one against Dundee United at Ibrox, just after New Year on our Uefa Cup Final season. We were 2-0 up anyway i think and the pen was in the last 5 mins. Chris Burke scored iirc.

Havn't seen the game but yet as soon as i saw our lineup on the sky sports score centre i instantly said 4-0. Not quite right but close enough and if we were as creative as you suggested then that is ideal. No reason not to go in against Dundee United with the same team. Lets attack them.
