Like Lafferty he polarised the club's support, but at least you couldn't argue with his scoring ratio, even if he was a lazy bassa. Look up Lafferty's career ratio - abysmal.

But McGregor has been a consistent performer for Rangers over the past 3 or so years, at least a helluva lot more than yer man Kyle.
I don't think even the most ardent "Lafferty-ite" so to speak, could argue with that.

Admitting your happy a Rangers player got sent off is questionable though.
Point taken, but whether the guy is a tim or not, he's got a point about Lafferty's overall contribution to the team, even if being glad we had a player sent off is a bit misguided to say the least.

I think it's too early in the season to judge Lafferty , give him time - he will know himself that this is a defining season for him at Gers , at the end of last season he started to come good ; he'll be feeling the pressure just now with Beattie and Jelavic signing - let's not right him off just yet .
How many more "defining seasons" is he going to get?

Sorry, this is slightly off topic. I tried to join FF today to see what the posters there were saying about today's events regarding Jelavic. They wouldn't let me join because I have a gmail email address which is banned apparently (even though it's a new address and I've never tried to join before. Also, they were wanting my home address and mobile number. WTF? To join a messageboard? Am I alone in thinking that's a bit much?
