think sandys point was that if you have played over half a season and have 100% record then you must of played the 2nd place team at least once so they would be at least 3 points behind you (unless that game was postponed to later in the season).

Update...put on the AV and found a few things but didnt solve the problem. Pinged another website and everything was fine as far as I could tell. Tried to use another web browser(safari, only other on the laptop) said cannot find server. Tried the ethernet cable as well. Any other idea's?

Cheers to all, off home to see what can be done. Why he doesnt have AV i'll never know, prob didnt want to pay the money for it and didnt realise you can get free software from the net

My house mates laptop is shown as being connected to the wireless network but when internet explorer is opened it says it cannot display the web page. Sounds like a virus to me but I wont have a USB stick to put anti-virus software on till tomorrow. Anyone know if its definitely a virus or what should really be done?

I also recon its a good move for both. guaranteed first team football in a tougher league, whereas he could have just been punted onto the bench at a bigger club after a few bad games. surprised how little lisbon asked for him and moutinho tho!

Just read this quote on BBC:
