I clearly do watch Spanish football, quite a lot actually, so stop making assumptions.
Alves crosses are constantly pish, and from the numerous times I've seen him take freekicks, I've yet to see one go in. I think he's overrated to say the very least.
Ramos is better defensively, but he can be a bombscare too.
If Dani Alves could cross, he'd be up there as one of the best fullbacks ever.
He's also a diving wee fucker who stirs it up.

I actually think Alves would be a pretty good right mid. The amount of runs he makes in a single game down the right flank is frightening.
Never gets picked up until he hits the halfway line though - stop him in his own half and he's got nowhere to go.
Admittedly a challenge against Barca though.
He can't cross for shit though.

Why has it just surfaced now?
I suspect it's because TOC/OAP neglector found out our probationary period with UEFA was up after the two games against PSV.

You'd think Guardiola would be making him do it, but then again, I don't think Barca have a midfielder or forward over 6' except Keita so they maybe don't miss it as much as first thought.
