Im open to try Edu at cb in pre season see how he fairs could be an exellent idea. Still not convinced about Lafferty and am very dubious about making him our no1 centre forward, Boyd must stay!

I thought Magic was inspiring last night with his forward runs etc
and i seen some clips of him playing down south and agree he would slot in there easily
To be honest he reminded me of Amoruso, there was a couple of times he was caught out last night and just lucky his drives forward were not punished, yet cant knock his spirit some of the other players could of taken a leaf out of his book for commitment to the cause.

Agree with Aaron needing to be given a chance which should of happened months ago but the radical changes you are suggesting are to far in my view

With nobody with experience at bringing home a league title in the rangers ranks is it time to put Fergie back to redeem himself? Nacho Novo is the only other with experience with a shout at starting it is obvious rangers need somebody to stop the team toiling into second position yet again, the team lacks drive and leadership which was apparent against Hibs where the team looked lost.
Two things that Barry, imo does not have either.

Easton at hamilton looks decent, Maybe Sandaza? Not who i would really want but lets face it we are skint! I like the look of Zheng Zhi who's leaving charlton. he would be alright as would Aguir. As for departures i would gladly see the back of Mculloch, Adam, Daily, Hemdani,Beasley Greame Smith, Velika (i know he's scored a few now but he is still shhhhhite!) Ferguson and Broadfoot.....not any real money in transfer fees though. if we have to sell our 'good' players Mcgreagor would def be my first choice out the door as Alexander is more than an able replacement whereas we would struggle to replace the likes of Davis, Mendes, Bouhgerra with similar quality. Boyd must stay!

I'm not sayin its impossible, i just said we would struggle and we will. We are skint, Boughie worth say 5/6 mil, both cuellar and boumsong went in the region of 8mil and our total transfer budget will be about 50p! Yes we could find another another gem on the cheap but they could also turn out to be similar quality of Svennson/fanfan/Rodriguez or big Marv or any of the other pish center backs we have had recently which you have conviently forgot to mention.

i think your prob right about the compensation issue, i do think though he would jump at the chance, he's previously said it would be his dream job (i think, could be wrong) so i wouldnt see him turning what could be his only chance if offered. Think super ally will get it in any case if walt goes

Yeah i was having a discussion about fanfan the other day with my mate and i was sayin he never got a chance at centre back, he was saying he got 1 or 2 games there and was awful but i cant really remember. I dont think he would of been that bad, he would of hardly been playing with the most competant defencive partner thinking back to the players we had! Yep Ostenstad pure shite! as was Jeffers, and who was the man that signed them....what a joke!

I really rated Smith as a left back before he got injured, and if i remember rightly so did Walter as he called him up for Scotland or was going to at least but then he got injured, so im perplexed to why he is not playing him there and prefers to play Daily and then whittaker on the left. Maybe because he aint that good in the air? He certainly aint very effective as a midfielder, but as a left back he is decent....or was.
