and i thought Johnson was a massive price at evens! Stuck him on with Brazil ht/ft earlier today!
-
he is one first team player i think it makes sense to sell IF we got a sufficient transfer fee (approaching the £5mil mark maybe) and only if the full transfer fee could be used to add to our squad. Otherwise i would keep him.
-
The funny thing is had boyd left in January or made his intentions clear sooner then the chances of keeping novo would have surely been increased. He start for me up front with the strikers we have remaining.
-
i dont think you can blame him, the difference in the money is massive and it also gives boyd a chance to prove to his doubters he can do it at the highest level, just unbelievable that we didnt offer him an extension a couple of years ago and we could have made money off him
-
I just dont get why he would leave a club like Rangers to go into liverpool reserves. he could establish himself in the rangers side, play champions league football then leave in a couple of years on good terms, earn the club a fair bit and demand an even bigger contract to whatever liverpool are proposing now. It appears he is only interested in making as much money as he can in the short term with little regard to his long term future, with absolutley no loyalty shown to the club who gave him his opportunity. He's apparantly this sensible lad, but taking an unnecessary gamble so early in his career does not seem sensible to me.

the only players that would appeal to most premiership sides and worth a fair sum to swap are davis, bougie and shagger and we wont get better, so no one!
Nonsense.
Boyd , Miller , Whittaker ,Novo, Wilson and Papac would attract interest from the Premiership if they were to make it clear they wanted to play there.
Boyd = 3 - 5 million
Miller = 3 - 5 million
Papac = 2 - 3 million
Wilson = 3 million
Whittaker = 1- 10 million??? He's so unpredictable.
Novo = priceless.
ur talking balls young man. for fuck sake two boyd and novo are out of contract

I would defo take him, He is a rangers man and i think he has done very well at notts forest and derby. A choice between mccoist and davies to take over from Walt, id take davies every time.
-
I wouldnt take like it, for me we are lucky to have Webster coming back, will be like a new signing and I doubt we will sign anyone better than him at cb, for me he would go into the first team even if we keep bougie, wilson and weir. I'd happily take Goodwillie however i dont think he is much of an improvement on what we already have up top,

I got a phone call from one of my mates today who works at ladbrokes (as do I) asking if I had taken any bets on him, i couldnt speak to him for very long as was at uni but he was saying that he had taken 4 or 5 substantial bets on him today from £300 to £500. I was working yesterday and looked at the betting i think he was 9/2 or there abouts (about 5th in the betting) anyway but now he is 3/1 with ladbrokes, 7/4 fav with hill and 6/4 fav with sky bet so there must have been a bit of money on him. I cant see him taken the job as he has only just started with Scotland, but this suggest otherwise????
-
mido anyone? hes on a grand a week at west ham! some might say hes not even worth that with his current form but i think a big man like him would do well in scotland
-
certainly one of em. would much prefer Sebo instead of that donkey!

the team that played in december prob... mcgreagor whitt, bougie, weir, papac, beasley on the right novo on the left davis and any one of big lee, thommo, or edu for the other centre mid slot. boyd miller up front. why the fuck have we not went back to beas and novo on the wings with davis in the middle is beyond me... was the only time this season we have looked decent and able to dominate from start to finish.

ive got haye to win on points...hold on ruiz!!!

On a wednesday night, the student union is always really busy as Wednesday night is Student night, but TK's or Stadia will be where i will be watching it.
Can't wait til next Wednesday vs. the sheep. Be good to watch a Gers v Aberdeen game in a Aberdeen pub where we actually win seeing as it's only Pittodrie games that are usually on live.
Stadia is closed for refirbishment aswell as your error about the live game so all in all not a very useful comment you have left there mr dixon... ya turkey!

he was more than decent for aberdeen, I dont see why not, I dont see it happening but its not like it would be much of a risk if it did happen. get him untill the end of season wages would be minimal if he can reproduce his aberdeen form he would provide good cover and give weir a break, if he is shite and doesnt play release him.

I get what you are saying but we have not stuck up for lafferty because he has in no way endeared himself to the fans, and the best way to do this is put in performances, he has been rotten for us and comes across as an arrogant twat. The four you mentioned in comparison Boyd Mcgreagor papac and Bougie have been consistant performers on the park and in turn become fans favourites. Simple.
-
haha was very funny lets see if nicholas bites
-
I dont ever see it happening but I would take him back if the chance came. Based on his performances for Rangers alone he impressed me more than Cuellar and Bougie, thats just my opinion though!
-
At the end of the day, I don't care if you used to play for the club or not.
I want the players who will improve the team in.
Absolutly agree I would take numerous players back right now (no point going into names), it would strenghthen the team and squad and therefore improve our chances of success. Simple.
-
I really dont see much potential of him coming good, what qualities does he offer? cos i aint seen nout so far. cut our losses now if any club is mad enough to go for him instead of paying him to leave in a season or two.
-
Am I the only one that thinks Whittaker had a pretty good game.
whittaker was for me one of the better ones certainly not the worst out there and i defo would not start a thread to lambast his performance. Nobody for me covered themselves in glory but it wasnt even close to being our first team so I am not complaining at all with a point.
-
mcgregor
whittaker broadfoot weir papac
davis edu thomson mcculloch dmb/novo
miller
hope am wrong and goes for the win but i think he will resort to his boring tactics and play for a draw but if he takes advantage of their poor defending and go for 4-4-2 and we could destroy them but i cant see ws doing that hope iam wrong
I hope your wrong with the defence aswell, Whittaker can stay on the bench with wilson in at cb
Kevin Thomson signs for Middlesbrough

if it appears that KT will not be signing a new contract then i'd take it. he's nothing special.
