  1. Someone on here posted last week that we should have offered £400,000 and told them the price will go down £10k per day.

He's ours come January for fuck all. If they want to fuck about and keep a player whos mind is wandering elsewhere then that's their problem.

It's about time we stopped letting others mug us off over transfer fees.

I see Goodwillie was left on the bench today behind Jason Roberts and Rovers lost 2-1 at home. Welcome to the EPL David.

  2. He was as poor today as he has been for as long as i can remember.

Took goal well and should never have been red carded but still think he's not going to feature once we get the new midfielders in.

    What game were you watching?

  3. their not so smug now, being told he's homesick when actually he realised that their club is shit and stadium and surrounding area is a shitehole

I live in Nottingham and I hate Forest but the surrounding area of West Bridgford is very nice.

You're right though City Ground is shit.

  4. The source of this rumour has been traced to an ADO den hag fans forum - nothing remotely official.

in fact the guy that 'broke' the story is now asking those on the forum where this rumour was sourced in the first place.

I know. Meltdown over a complete and utter fabrication. There is no real source for this just a rumour that has snowballed.

  5. ive hears Forest have budget for 1 player and it will not be him, west brom player ive heard they are signing , no names no sources

Correct Ismael Miller from WBA around £2m and John Guidetti on loan from City. I posted this Friday.

  6. He will not go to Forest. They cannot afford big wages. Routledge agreed a 20k per week deal only for the board to reduce it to 15k. He backed out and is now at Swansea.

Forest now have offers in for John Guidetti on loan from City and a £2m bid for Ismael Miller from WBA.

In a shoot out between clubs if we have an offer accepted, not only can we offer more in terms of prestige but we should be more than able to compete with Forest.

Only recently their chairman stated that they have to demonstrate prudence in anticipation of the financial FairPlay rules.

McClaren has also recently voiced his concern at a lack of transfer activity indicating that a number of players wouldn't consider a move to Nottingham.

  7. I work quite heavily within strength and conditioning and although the YouTube videos are impressive as far as his conditioning is involved, I would have preferred to see him do some actual skills work with a ball. You can train and train and train but there is no replacement for on field skills training.

I'm sure he is in fantastic shape but nothing can beat the chaotic and random circumstances that the events of a game can exert on the body. I think the videos were a "look at me" exercise to put him in the minds of a few clubs. The proof will be in the actual technical training and games he will soon play.
