I'm quite happy with how we are conducting ourselves in the transfer market.
Aye it's been great so far, a squad that's now 2 points behind and about to get fukd out of Europe and lose 15 million.

If our fans were in charge, their impatience would cost us a fortune. Flying in with offers just to get deals done is a good way of returning to the financial lows of the last few years. Yes, we're conducting our business frustratingly slow, but a balance needs to be struck in order to get the best value for the club and to avoid more financial hardships. I'm of the opinion that Whyte is closer to striking that balance than the fans who are deriding him for not simply offering the figure Utd are demanding.
pretty sure by being so fucking slow in the transfer market that we are about to go out of Europe and cost ourselves a fortune!

To put in a shitey 1 million pound bid 8-9 days ago and then we haven't heard back is embarrassing! To me I think his club haven't even replied to reject our offer cos it's so shite, in any case we should be getting in touch with them FFs! Waiting about is a joke!
Btw glad to see we have been pulling out all the stops today to try n get players in for Saturday. I'm sick of this season already.

Not sure why anyone's expecting a big spending spree now that we're almost out of the CL.
If anything, I expect the complete opposite.
As I said, it works both ways. I doubt we would see another Kaunas like spree tho, we spent about 13 million after we went out to them, that was a loss of about 26 million all in including champions league money lost.
The fact is, due to our horrific transfer dealings, we are 2 points behind already, nearly out of the champions league and still need about 6 players!!!!

It works both ways regarding whyte Spending money, on one hand he spends about 10 million on quality and gets us into the CL and makes a couple million profit...on the other hand he spends 5-6 million and we get papped out, we will be at a loss straight away.
I actually can't believe we are in this position, all this bullshit about being ready and learning from Kaunas? Too much talking and not enough action which has been the theme of this transfer window!
If we think we can get to the 31st august without dropping more points and then get players in on the cheap we are kidding ourselves on!
