I think I'm the best fighter ever. I respect Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson. But as of now, I feel I'm the best.
I’m not in this sport to see how hard I can get hit or to see how many big punches I can take. I am in this game to fight as long as I can. I am trying to dish a lot of punishment.

Just following on from members picking a Celtic player over a Rangers player. I was brought up to hate everything Celtic, and told never to gave them any praise, and even our poor players you would always say were better than any of their players. They are a evil club who despise our club and everything we stand for even if they tell you different. All i will say is even if you think they have a players that you think is better never admit it, they are scum and always will be. Maybe time moves on but the hatred for them should be from cradle to grave.
I can agree that Henrik Larsson was a comfortably better player Egil Østenstad. There, look. The sky didn't fall down, Ireland didn't become unified, Celtic fans aren't on the streets dancing at getting one over on anyone.

You would probably find it hard to beleive there are Celtic supporters out there fighting for queen and country, not all of them share the beliefs of the Celtic fan we all hate, thankfully.

I obviously have some different beliefs from you when it comes to a football rivalry and yours seem pretty popular on the board. I love how we are being made out to be condoning actions of Celtics history becuase we can call one of them our mates outside the football.
I have no shame in admitting that I have Celtic supporter mates in my work and football team. It's amazing that on here that makes me one of Murrays lapdogs, a handwringer......i'm telling the truth, not trying to appease the majority on here

As I said before I have Celtic supporting mates, they do not condone child abuse, they do not celebrate british soldiers dying abroad. To tar them all with the same brush because of a minority of idiots that follow them do is stupid and childish. As I said earlier we have a mate who was a marine and we all turned out to welcome him home, rangers, motherwell, celtic, hearts fans.

I'll put it in simple terms.
If my Celtic supporting mates turned round one day and said 'we support child abuse, the attacks on our own soldiers etc.' then I would in no way want to be associated with them. But the thing is they don't, every one I know is deplored by what went on with the child abuse and every one supports our british troops, fuck one of our group is not long back from Helmand.
To tar each one with the same brush is narrow minded and delusional.

Thats fair play mate, am sure a few people do. I dont, and, dont apologise for it either. I am fortunate that I dont live up there now, so, they are few and far between.
Interesting everyone latched onto that reason though. There are a lot of negative and distasteful things associated with that club, and, I personally, dont want to be associated with that type of thing. I even bank with an ethical bank, as is my belief system
I know for a fact that every Celtic supporter I know are not proud of their past and certainly 100% do not condone it. Yes they continue to support Celtic but they do not support what happened in certain parts of their history, and if they did then I wouldn't want to associate myself with them. Therein lies the difference imo

I find it hard to beleive that some on here 'claim' to have no mates/will never be mates with anybody who supports Celtic. No matter if it was through school, work, football team, any sort of club/social group there will always be some from both sides. And to say you will never have anything to do with them because of who they support is pretty sad imo.
I was brought up to hate celtic in a football rivalry sense but I have a few good mates who are supporters of the darkside and we are able to have banter, a laugh and we know where we stand.
....But if it keeps some members on the forums reputation as super elite Rangers fans then all the best

It was the fact the guy had two fucked knees but went out every week and gave 100%, also producing moments of brilliance. I wish we could have got the big man 2-3 years earlier.
