  1. that was a good read ( well the bits i could understand with their made up words and pish spelling ) . my favourite bit was when one of them said - "I actually think we have a greater chance of winning a trophy this year than the h***." :D

And also " with FOSTER now havin played champions league football and europa league football we would be stupid if let him leave for less than 1.5million " . They are almost as deluded as them across the city .

  2. The fact we won the game shouldnt let the ref off the hook . Jelavic penalty - played for the penalty and went down a bit easily , this shouldnt matter though as there was contact . but changing his mind after giving it ? id love to know if he got a word in his ear from 50 yards away .

the handball - Stonewaller imo , his arms not right by his side and hes leaned into , so penalty and a card (probly yellow) . Mulgrew blocking jela - last man ,foul , goalscoring opportunity . for the life of me I cant see why its not a red .any other game hed defo by off . izzagueire - got it right . diouf yellow - looks like hes dived because hes had to jump the tackle , had he not its a potential ankle break , got it wrong . mulgrew - persistent fouling lucky to stay on the park , rogne too but probly should have stayed on . Did their player get booked for diving in our box ? i really cant remember so i wont comment .

Didnt mean for this to be this long , but after i started i kept remembering differant incidents lol . 6-7 big decisions to make got maybe 5 wrong which could have been costly to us . I dont want to sound as paranoid as them but surely the refs performance has to be looked at . rant over

  3. edu is frustrating cos we know he can do better , hes done it before . he actually looked a good player when he first came in .thats why i didnt vote for him . i mean hes obviously a better player than the likes of jeffers , gayle , ostenstaad or maniero

  4. Now that europe , the scottish cup and (after we win ) the league cup are out of the way , All we have (as of sunday) to concentrate on is the league . With naisy back , ness soon back , weiss back already and big jelavic fresh as a daisy we have nothin to worry about . The league always was THE priority , everything else was a welcome bonus, We have the squad , we have the team , we have the management , we definitely have the fans . After we do them on sunday theyl shite it . even if we dont , we still shout no surrender . the league is in our hands bears . They have to come to ibrox and win . Never again will our playeys want to feel the way they did in jan . They have the biggest arsehole in scottish football history in charge . we have 1 of the biggest legends in the game leading us . All I say is bring the bastards on . WE WELCOME THE CHASE

  5. exactly. why not try an work some sort of deal between arsenal , mcgregor to them , bartley to us, plus they throw in a loan deal for 1 of their exciting youngster (assuming of course they pay the loans wages to cover greegs cost ) . I know this is the ussual "what if scenario " we see on here alot . But i think it would be a sound bit of buisness for us . ready made back up in alexander . be gettin a young defender thats proving himself this year and in a few years be a potential captain imo. plus if theres no buyout we will need to be relying on loans again next year . and why not build up a good relationship with arsenal who excell in producing top quality youngsters who would need to get out on loan

  6. In better circumstances I wouldnt have mcculloch as captain , i just dont think he has the right attributes . But unfortunately We dont seem to have many choices at the moment .

Mcgregor - lead by example performance wise . maybe not right image for a rangers captain

Mcculloch - Rangers man , gives his all . Doesnt seem to motivate too much (for me )

Davis - Lead by example , rangers man , not a motivator , drifts in an out games too much

Naismith - Gives his all , great player , never really thought of him as captain material though

For me these are our most realistic options . I would love to see someone like ness really hold down a place in the team and evolve into a rangers captain much the way ferguson did . Although in ferguson when he was first in the team I always knew hed be a future captain . I Dont see that in any of our youngsters at the moment . Ness , Hutton etc prove me wrong

  7. On the park we need to stop showing teams so much respect , we seem to be more scared of losing these days than going for it and closing out games . Start attacking . play 2 up front let other teams worry about us . Off the park , short of changing everything , i just dont know

  8. We've every right to have a go at him . How many more pathetic performances are we allowed to have before its ok to bad mouth him . At full time I wasnt thinking , its ok cos smith won stuff in the past . I was too sick with an embarrasing performance . Im trying not to overreact , telling myself wev got the league n cup to win . but as long as smith continues to be scared to even try and play football against this mob what chance have we got really . 1-0 down we dont have a go we sit back incase they score again . Smith may be a legend but that doesnt mean we should accept every poor decision , poor attitude and lack of ideas to change a match .

  9. Whittaker was talkin about it in the paper today , said he'd be confident steppin up again and that we should bring back novo for it :D . Mccoist also said he'd have loved to have been involved in a shoot out " I dont know if i'd of dinked it , but ...." :praise:

  10. As long as we are secure at the back! I don't think we will see the same approach as against Sporting. We will keep the ball longer and with both full backs, Whittaker, Diouf and Davis going to support Jelavic it could work, all comes down to how we keep the ball. 4-4-2 being attacking is a myth. And I don't know about you but if Walter is keen on starting Weir then I don't want him anywhere near a back 4 against Celtc.

Totally agree about weir . I know hes not everyones first choice to play anymore ( including me ) but if walter HAS to play him then we do need others to cover him in games like this . This could also nulify the threat from commons and izzaguire . But if we dont pass the ball better or again if we isolate jelavic these things wont matter

  11. He was already a hero amongst the Rangers support. If he wants to do fundraising for charity, it is his choice, but to choose that charity, over all the others in the world, smacks of a cynical ploy to gain the respect of the unwashed.

I honestly cant believe people are critising this charity work , you couldnt make it up . forget the fact hes a proper legend record goalscorer , succesful coach during an important time for our club . lets concentrate on the fact he gave to the unfortunate because their not the unfortunate people we would prefer . Im sure he wasnt thinking " if i raise money for these poor people maybe celtic fans will like me " . Didnt he do this fundraising with tommy burns (forget the fact hes a celtic man ) mccoists friend . Moaning at a legend because of the charity he gives to is just low in my opinion

  12. My point in posting was how the journo framed the sentance, he could have mentioned it at some other point in the article, but in that particular sentance he was either intentionally (or not) making the association of shocking behaviour and an ex Rangers player, he could quite easily have written shocking behaviour by the AC Milan player.

But no, he's just another Journo trying to stir it in the little goldfish bowl that is Glasgow IMO

Funny now that the Herald want's itself to be seen as a National newspaper

By relating it to Rangers/Celtic , theyl sell more papers in scotland

  13. What changes would he have made though.

Healy for lafferty possibly - healy wouldn't have done much better.

Bartley for edu, thats about it.

Naismith was just on the bench to make up numbers.

Fleck for diouf who was tired

healy for lafferty , whos to say he wouldnt have done better , only scored 2 less than lafferty already ffs

naismith was fit enough for a run out or he wouldnt even of been on the bench

  14. Why is WS getting the blame? It was quite clearly the players that were pish especially first half. How many shocking passes?

I dont blame him totally for the first half ( although he deserves some ) , but everyone in the stadium and everyone watchin could see we were tired , we needed to change things . maybe not tacticly but the personell . Just cos walter has had some amazing successes at this club doesnt meen hes immune to critism , this year ( bar a couple games ) wev been shocking . wer horrible to watch , grinding out results and more than a few games wev been lucky to hang on for the win . I hope it doesnt but smiths luck might run out and leave us with nothin this year

  15. One of my favourite ever players , and one of the greatest strikers ever to play the game . European all time top scorer . Spains all time top scorer ( i think hes still level with villa) and real madrids all time top scorer . 3 incredible stats . Did go downhill a bit in his last couple of years at Real . but an absolute legend

  16. Try and wipe that grin from healys face. My man crush on big jelly grows after every game .Young bartley looks a class act too ( i know its early) . absolutley delighted by the result today . just shows what happens when we attack teams , wer almost unhandlible . Restored alot of confidence for me . next sundays game cant come quick enough

  17. Im pretty excited about this signing . We know theres a player in there , hes proved he can score goals ( internationaly at least ). Now he has chance to prove his talent for his boyhood heroes , last chance to play at a massive club , no pressure on him and he'l want to prove all his doubters wrong . Welcome to the club healy , help fire us to another title

  18. leigh griffiths is the best buy i ever made , bought him for £550,000 year played scored

    2011/12 12 6

    2012/13 46 27

    2013/14 52 53

    2014/15 36 38

    146 games - 124 goals , european top scorer once .

Also singed Galvan in the same season (cant remember the club) he plays in the mexico u20 team , singed for 1.2 mil and hes been amazing . striker , doesnt score as much as griffiths but has been young player of the year / player of the year , and in team of the year every year so far for me (wee bastards unhappy though cos real have shown an intrest )
